When Ed Shelby and Bob Gringle come across Charlie Drain camping on the prairie, they accuse him of being a horse thief and hang him.

Back in Dodge City, Matt Dillon is confronted by a rancher named Charlie Drain who enraged by the crime. He promises Dillon he will take matters into his own hands if the marshall doesn't catch the murderers.

It seems Burley once threw suspicion on Page for a serious crime that was never solved, forcing Page to leave Texas.

Old Hiram has been a prospector for over 40 years. When Brit meets him on the road to Clay City, Hiram exclaims he has finally struck it rich and shows Brit bags of rocks he plans to take into Enoch Wilson, the local assayer. Hiram doesn't trust Enoch, so asks Brit to accompany him.

When a robbery in town occurs, however, everything changes. And it appears it may end up costing old Hiram not only his gold -- but his life.

Howard McNear shines as Hiram and Herb Vigran is a very good as Enoch.
