Her impeccably written screenplay is brought to life by an ensemble that includes Claire Foy, Jessie Buckley, Rooney Mara, Judith Ivey, and of course one of our favorite BSA's on this podcast, "Stepping Out" and "House Arrest" scene stealer Sheila McCarthy. We get a brief cameo from the indomitable Frank, a heartbreaking Ben Wishaw as Best Supporting August, Ruth and Cheryl as two very important horses, some interesting parallels to the movie "She Said," and have we mentioned Sheila McCarthy, once again stealing a movie and our hearts? What more can we say, "Women Talking" deserves your attention.

Birthday Girl's Choice continues this week with Nick's pick: the original Broadway production of "Rent," featuring most of the original cast in its final performance, to say nothing of "Hamilton" BSA Renee Elise Goldsberry as Mimi and Eden Espinosa sending us over the moon as Maureen. Much to Colin's existential delight, this is far from the peak of musical theatre cringe but is actually a beautifully written and composed show worthy of its place in both Broadway history and the hearts of all those Rent-heads. That being said, we kind of wish Mark was gay.
