Have you ever heard of stories where a woman is confiding in her friend about her marital/relationship woes and her friend responds and says 'I won't take that', only to find out later she is going through even worse and taking even worse.

As a people, we shy away from giving marital or relationship advice because we don't want to be seen to be telling someone else to get out of a bad relationship because we are still in ours. Or we say 'It is well' just to mask how bad we think the situation is or better still encourage them to remain submissive as the bible says.

Wikipedia describes the value of life as an economic value used to quantify the benefit of avoiding a fatality. It is also the cost of life, value of preventing a fatality and implied cost of averting a fatality. Human lives are so precious hence why in every society, all care must be taken to ensure lives are valued, protected and fatalities are avoided at all cost. Whenever there's an unfortunate incident where iives are lost, investigations begin in earnest to determine the failings and prevention measures are put in place immediately.
