The Easter message to our podcast listeners is to 'begin to see life through a child's perspective'.

The scriptures say (Matthew 18:3-5) - "I'm telling you, once and for all, that unless you return to square one and start over like children, you're not even going to get a look at the kingdom, let alone get in. Whoever becomes simple and elemental again, like this child, will rank high in God's kingdom. What's more, when you receive the childlike on my account, it's the same as receiving me. Magazines, television and social media are often blamed for portraying an ideal body image that causes people to question their looks and lose confidence in themselves. We are then encouraged to 'Love our bodies'. But really what does that mean? Does it mean love exactly how you are irrespective of colour, size, body mass, peculiarities etc. Or does it mean loving what you can't change but changing what you can to boost your self? Dieting is a good example of attempts to be a size which may or may not be ones natural body size disposition.   In today's podcast, Bimbola and Jo share their thoughts on what loving your body looks like to a variety of people. In today's society of women empowerment and female equality, being a stay at home mum does not seem to fit within this frame. We continue to stigmatize stay at home mums but really when you sit down with one, you realise they are major contributors to the society in which we live in.

This is part 1 of Inheritance vs Legacy series. Culturally we make a lot of noise about inheritance to the point where families are broken up and strong bonds are broken resulting to death! Legacy on the other hand which is more important is not something we are great at promoting.

Family planning as the name suggest is the practice of controlling the number of children in a family and the intervals between their births. Although it takes 2 to have a child, women have generally been left with the responsibility of family planning.

Homeschooling, also known as home education, is the education of children inside the home. This trend is rising worldwide and especially amongst Nigerians in the UK. Traditionally, when a couple get married, the woman is expected to change her name and take the name of her husband. Whilst historically women have been doing this, it turns out it wasn't even an African custom.

A wife was considered her husband's possession hence the reason for the name change.

Forbes list pastors, poor congregation, let's talk about it.

Now this is probably the most controversial topic of discussion out there on how religious leaders are able to make the Forbes list with a net worth of millions and billions of dollars whilst a large number of their congregation live in poverty.

As we know, tithes, offerings, voluntary contributions, appreciative cash exchange, among others, are ways the church gets funds channelled towards the propagation of the gospel of Christ. The question most are asking is are the wealthy leaders the only beneficiaries of this and to what proportion? No pastor should become wealthy by worldly standards strictly from ministry income. Some also feel that flashy lavish lifestyles are not for religious leaders but only those in show business.
