Geno Smith in defeat played his butt off and while Rashad Penny's season is over, Seattle appears like a threat in NFC West.  Pivoting to the rest of what we saw for NFL Week 5 there comes a level of surprise in many results.  Philadelphia sneaks past Arizona due to Cardinals incompetence late.  Dallas had fortunate luck early to score and defensively dismantled McVay and the rams.  Daboll, Kafka, and Daniel Jones made noise across the pond in London as the Giants battle back. 

Josh Allen is the clear leader of MVP pack.  His numbers were ridiculous on Sunday again and he did damage with some painful crosswind that hinders most quarterbacks.  Denver and Indianapolis Thursday night was a brilliant display of defense across the board ... unless it wasn't.  We'll let you stew on it, but we have our own thoughts.  Chargers caught a break in Cleveland thanks to Jacoby Brissett's late interception and York missing a game-winning field goal, but Brandon Staley should be getting more heat.  If you have any doubts, go read a few Keenan Allen tweets.

Todd and Payne are back breaking down this week’s biggest games from a point spread perspective with NFL Week 4 Picks and Predictions including a BEST BET.  Crucial matchup analysis and key metrics will help get you to the betting window and cash your bets and daily fantasy football lineups.

Todd and Payne are showing Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars love but the matchup is tough in the spotlight against the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles.  Anyone know what Jameis Winston will do overseas or do we see Andy Dalton?  Is there a pick-6 in the cards or a Minnesota strip sack, scoop, and score?  One of the stingiest defenses in the NFL will try to turn Kirk Cousins into his primetime self and limit Justin Jefferson's explosive plays.  Mother Nature is not messing around in Florida and because of that, we might get something different with the Chiefs and Bucs. A game will be played, but the venue could be swapped out.  Tom Brady is doing what he can with a limited wide receiver unit, but Patrick Mahomes appears to be just fine.  We can look over the upset loss at Indy last week, but back-to-back losses here would be a concern for Andy Reid.  Lamar Jackson is pushing Josh Allen for the MVP race (sorry Tua).  These two signal callers will get together in Baltimore in a matchup that could prove to look liked a Big 12 game.  Thursday night football is going to be a helluva spectacle.  Joe Burrow and the Bengals have gotten out of the gate slowly, while Miami has cranked things up.  Tua has been out of this world to start and now one wonders when he will come crashing back to earth.  With Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle on the outside, Tua's production doesn't look like it will slow any time soon.

Tua slays Josh Allen and the Bills but it seems like negative variance impacted Buffalo's offense.  Matt Ryan beat the Chiefs but past the surface you will find reality.  Jags trash the Chargers but clearly Los Angeles was decimated by injury.  Josh Allen's inability to get touchdowns inside the red zone is now a thing.  Meanwhile Lamar Jackson is going over the top on everyone this season. His defense might not be much to look at but Jackson is playing like a dude negotiating his own future contract.  Justin Fields can't get right, but Chicago is defying the odds with winning record despite dreadful play.  San Francisco and Denver played a smash mouth football Sunday night and even though their offense doesn't look like anything to write home about, Russell Wilson has rebounded after a troubling Week 1 loss in Seattle.  The Raiders are winless and meetings between coach and ownership have taken place.  Tennessee and the Bengals finally got on the board with their first wins of the season.  With all that being said, are the Philadelphia Eagles impressive or are they a product of weak schedule NFC schedule.  We find out this week.
