Moving forward though we have a suitable matchup in Tampa between Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers. The two future hall of fame QB's will be at the center of attention, but their defenses are expected to shine the brightest. The question here is, who commits the costly turnover? Kirk Cousins is away from primetime ball so is it safe to assume he throws for 530 yards and 6 TD's against Detroit? Maybe, maybe not. What we do know so far is Detroit's offense has the skill to match point for point. The beat goes on for Josh Allen and the Bills as their high flying offense and relentless pass rush goes to humid Miami to battle with the Dolphins. Does Tua prove to have a second act in place in front of Von Miller? Jimmy G stays put and it could potentially bail out the 49ers in the long term. SF is in Denver to play Denver, a team laboring in the red zone and still trying to figure out how to manage a clock. Will the Browns redeem themselves against Pittsburgh in a Thursday night special after their horrific home collapse versus the Jets? Time will tell, but let's home so...especially for the dawg pound.

The coaching in several locations has been anything but elite in Week 2 so naturally Todd and Payne had to unpack the week that was. We are not sure what Todd gave Payne to drink but it made him preview Bears at Packers for Sunday Night Football. Aaron Rodgers has gaudy numbers against Chicago all-time and Justin Fields looked as pedestrian as one could in a victory. Chargers at Chiefs. Herbert versus Mahomes. Whatever unfolds Thursday night will will be in for a treat. Without Keenan Allen, where does Justin Herbert go with the football? Saints showed stones coming from behind against Atlanta in their opener but it’s a different conversation against Tom Brady‘s Buccaneers. Tampa Bay has a defense capable of flying all over the football field and it has the personnel to make Jameis Winston turn it over.

Dolphins were not prolific in their home opener against New England, but 1-0 is 1-0. Miami treks to Baltimore to do battle with a Lamar Jackson led bunch who aren’t just thinking about winning a handful of games. Playing out his contract, Jackson is poised to run his MVP season back but does he have enough weaponry to support his cause? What do the Bills do for an encore after trashing the Rams on the road? Ryan Tannehill looked good in the opener but might have a rough night ahead of him if Derrick Henry can’t get on track.
