Ike's stormy trial that began last week, and continues for many, surfaces issues in our lives. Trusting God through suffering - in the middle of hard times - can be challenging. There are lessons for us in Jesus' calming the storm and confronting the disciples' fear... but they might differ from what we've been taught!

The third God-drenched petition in the model prayer that Jesus gave us as His followers challenges us to think clearly and biblically regarding the will of God. What can we say and know for certain? What questions remain about what God is up to in the worlds, and in our lives?

Session #3 - The Priorities of Spiritual Gifts

Today's subject, the Kingdom of God and our petition that it might "come", raises diverse questions ranging from contemporary politics, to geographical religious movements, all the way down to our personal finances. That's a lot of territory; it's a deep significant subject.

If we think about it, the model prayer Jesus left His disciples raises all sorts of important questions. Like: who can pray "our Father"? And what does "hallowed" mean? And how can God's name be made any more "hallowed"? The answers of these questions can make a difference in the way we live.
