    3 THINGS THAT KEEP US FROM GOING ALL IN WITH JESUS…
    1. Pride
    “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get to eternal life.” Matthew 19:16
    “All these things I have kept.” Matthew 19:20
    Salvation is not about what we can do; it is what God has already done for us.
    “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it
    is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
    2. Fear
    • Fear of what Jesus is calling you to do.
    • “Jesus told him, ‘If you want to be perfect, go and sell all your possessions and give the
      money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me”’
      Matthew 19:21
      • Fear of losing what you have.
      • “But when the young man heard this, he went away sad, for he had great wealth.”
        Matthew 19:22
        3. Ignorance
        “And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or
        children or property, for My sake, will receive a hundred times as much in return and will
        inherit eternal life”. Matthew 19:29
        • Not realizing what you will gain will keep you from going all in.
        • Not realizing who Jesus is will keep you from going all in.
        • “Teacher, what good things must I do to get to eternal life.” Matthew 19:16

          2. Imitate Father God

          3. Be captured by awe and wonder

          “do not hinder them from coming to Me” Matthew 19:14

          4. Believe like a child

          5. Be resilient

          “though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the LORD!           2. Deal with the vertical before the horizontal
          “You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.” Matthew 22:37
          “God is not far from each one of us” Acts 17:27
          “The entire law is summed up in a single command: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself” Galatians 5:14
          3. Give the rescue of grace
          “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
          “If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” 1 John 1:8

          4. Develop trust in the relationship
