  • Don't Give Up
    “DON’T GIVE UP”

VERSE OF THE WEEK: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up”.  Galatians 6:9

Perseverance: “steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success, not giving up.”
Hebrews 10:35-36 “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need
to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has
    promised.”
3 Pathways to Persevere to God’s Promises

    1) Adjust your perspective
“Consider it pure joy, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”  James 1:2-3
Hebrews 12:2 “We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross…”

    • Obstacles are opportunities to experience God's work in our life.
    •
      2) Trust the process
“Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. “James 1:4
      • If you have no struggles, you'll have no strength.
      •
        3) Be persistent in prayer
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”  James 1:5

Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest."

        • When you turn your problems into prayers; God will turn your battles into blessings!
