    5. September 9, 2018 – A Legacy of Faith
Today Pastor Ben Kingston tells us “God uses fallible men and women who listen and obey to accomplish their God given assignments which result in a legacy of faith.” Hebrews 11:17-22 says “By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff. By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.”

    6. September 2, 2018 – Heaven is my home
“The reality and hope of heaven changes and permeates every area of our lives” – Pastor Ben Kingston
Today Pastor Ben Kingston brings us a message challenging us to look forward to heaven as our home and to be less attached to this earth.
Hebrews 11:13-16 “These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.”

    7. August 26, 2018 – By faith a nation is born
Today Pastor Ben Kingston brings us a message about the obedience of Abraham in the face of the unknown.
Hebrews 11:8-12: “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.”

    8. August 26, 2018 – It’s all by faith
“In a world where, if we were honest we could only hope to be saved, much less walk with God, or even serve Him. The inspired word of God tells us we can not only achieve all three, but it is what we have been called too. We must simply exercise faith.”
      -Pastor Ben Kingston
Today Pastor Ben Kingston continues the series on faith from Hebrews 11.
Hebrews 11:4-7 “By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.”

    10. August 12, 2018 – The Need for Continuing Education Secular and Spiritual
Today Pastor Ben Kingston brings us a message encouraging us to pursue continuing education from Deuteronomy 8:1-3.
One of the vital lessons of life is disciplining ourselves to see all biblical and secular knowledge that contributes to our life and purpose as necessary as our daily food.
Deuteronomy 8:1-3 “All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers. And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.”

      ‭‭

Matt 4:4“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

The education doesn’t stop at 12 grade

      Not after your AA

      OR YOUR BA OR BS

      OR YOUR MASTERS

      OR EVEN YOUR DOCTORATE!

No, here is the sad fact it is called continuing education. Most professional jobs either require or expect you to stay current and pursuing education in your field.
It is beyond important, it is necessary! Please give yourself to your schooling as training for life.

Most people that are in a season of difficulty can trace it to a lack of CE in scripture and discipleship living.
Come hungry let the pain of your situation drive you to discipline. Which will lead to desire which will lead to delight.
And not just delight that you are out of your current circumstance but delight in your savior that He is the answer to all life’s difficulties.

    12. August 19, 2018 – The Just Shall Live by Faith
Today Pastor Ben Kingston introduces the series of messages defining faith from Hebrews 11:1-7.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
