When life takes unexpected turns, do we trust God to see it through? In Joshua 10, Israel faces an overwhelming enemy coalition, but God fights for them in supernatural ways—sending hail, causing confusion, and even making the sun stand still! This chapter reminds us that God honors His promises, even when we make imperfect choices.

In this message, Pastor Matt unpacks the power of God’s faithfulness, the weight of our commitments, and how trusting in God’s plan—even when the outcome is uncertain—leads to victory.

🔥 Key Takeaways:
✅ God fights for His people—trust Him, even when the odds seem against you.
✅ Promises and commitments matter to God—be careful what you vow.
✅ Supernatural power, not human strategy, brings lasting victory.
✅ Hope is found in Christ, not just in favorable circumstances.

🙌 Rest in God’s faithfulness and let Him work through your struggles.

Message Notes

In this message, we explore Joshua 5:1-15, a pivotal moment when Israel transitioned from wandering to walking in the promises of God. Before taking possession of the land, they had to renew their covenant, prepare spiritually, and fully submit to God's leadership.

📖 Key Themes:

✅ The fear of the enemy when God is with us (Joshua 5:1)

✅ Circumcision at Gilgal – a fresh start in faith (Joshua 5:2-9)

✅ The end of manna – stepping into kingdom stewardship (Joshua 5:10-12)

✅ Joshua’s encounter with the Commander of the Lord’s Army – surrender before battle (Joshua 5:13-15)

✨ Life Application:

🔹 Are we waiting for manna when God is calling us to cultivate the land?

🔹 Are we asking God to bless our plans, or are we aligning with His?

🔹 True victory begins with surrender—are we ready to let God take over?

🙏 Final Challenge:

✔️ Know Jesus deeply

✔️ Serve Him with loyalty

✔️ Pray in alignment with His will

God’s presence is at the center of the story—not just the miracle! In Joshua 4, the Israelites cross the Jordan on dry ground, marking a pivotal moment in their journey of faith. But it wasn’t just about where God brought them from—it was about where He was leading them. Through flashbacks to the Red Sea and Passover, we see God’s divine plan unfold. Are we seeking His miracles, or are we truly seeking Him?

Pastor Matt continues in Joshua with a message from Joshua chapter three titled "Where Have We Seen This Before". We observe that the Israelites crossing the Jordan happened in similar fashion to the crossing of the Sea of Reeds, and also happens around the same time as passover. Coincidence? We think not.

Message Notes

As Pastor Matt continues in the book of Joshua, we walk through the story of the two spies taking refuge in Rahab's home, what this meant in it's cultural context, and how God was redeeming a previous sin of the Israelites.
