In an “intense and strange” exchange while meeting his girlfriend’s parents before the couple leaves to camp in upstate New York, Casey promises Cara’s mother that he will safely deliver their daughter back home. But when a bizarre encounter with a seedy couple at their campground becomes more distressing upon a return visit late at night, Casey fears he may have to break that promise.
