Better Movie...Maybe?

This week we dive into 2009's GI Joe: Rise of Cobra starring Channing Tatum and Marlon Wayans. In this episode, search for answers to pressing questions this movie brings up such as...Why is everyone related in this movie? Is the Cobra Commander's real name Rex or Scott? Why did Snake Eyes need rubber lips? Plus we try to understand how holograms work in this universe. 

BONUS EPISODE! At the request of multiple fans, we talk through the new Mortal Kombat movie, which is currently in theaters and on HBO Max. In this episode, we explore which video game character should have replaced the main protagonist, how Raiden repeatedly broke his own rules, why Sub-Zero just can't seem to finish the job, and most importantly how a film based on a video game fighting tournament manages to not feature an actual tournament.

This week we check out the 2015 space opera Jupiter Ascending starring Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum, which is currently available on Netflix. In this episode we explore how many concepts is too many for one sci-fi movie, siblings with very strange mommy issues, and why a dog man would need eagle wings.

This week we take a look at 2008's The Happening starring Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschanel, which is currently available on Amazon Prime. In this episode we explore Mark Wahlberg as science teacher, people trying to out run the wind, the mysterious origins of the hotdog scientist and tiramisu the forbidden dessert. Also, can someone please solve John Leguizamo riddle!?

ANOTHER BONUS EPISODE!! There was no way we could cover a 4-hour movie in one episode. So just as most viewers did, we broke the film into parts. In parts 4-6 we cover everything from the Flash's power scale and Cyborg's encounter with zombie grandmas to the very strange chemistry between Batman & the Joker in the epilogue. Also our guest is back and accuses one of us of purposely censoring DC materials.

On this week's episode, we take a look at 2008's Jumper starring Hayden Christensen and Samuel L. Jackson, which is currently available on Amazon Prime. Some of the topics we explore are the villain's hair color choice, Hayden Christensen's creepy vibes, and the best methods for fighting someone with teleportation ability.

BONUS EPISODE!! We discuss the new Snyder Cut Justice League parts 1-3 with a guest. We dive into this 4 hour epic and ask...Who was this movie made for? If you cut the slow motion out of this movie, is it only 2 hours long? Did Wonder Woman need to obliterate that guy? Was Cyborg technically robbing banks on his first day? Plus some of us think that Josstice league was the superior cut of this movie!

The squad tackles the 2004 action extravaganza Wanted starring James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie. We attempt to answer hard hitting questions such as...Is this movie just The Matrix x Fight Club? Were the assassins also running a successful textile business? Does Common's appearance confirm this movie takes place in the the John Wickiverse? Plus we come up with a movie plot with an even more ridiculous use of rats!

In the pilot episode, the squad takes on a monster of a movie with 2004's Van Helsing. They discuss important topics such as was this character just wolverine with a hat? Why must Kate Beckinsale always flip? Are friars allowed to curse? Frankenstein monster spin off films, do we want them? The answer is no.  Could a more serious tone save this movie? And maybe the most important question of them all: Why were there so many ropes?
