In this week's episode, we show we do not care who we alienate on Between Two Butts! Whether it's Tice the Levi Man exposing his butt crack to show off his label (sorry, audio only; you'll just have to trust us!) or Becca's fiancé Brian fingering the podcast, there is much potential to drive away listeners in the first 5 minutes! And it just escalates as Jay shares his Next Greatest Thing on The Inter-Webs; Brickleberry's Republican Jesus, an animation. Offensive enough on its own, but it leads each Between 2 Buttster to reveal their thoughts on Jesus. And tasers.
Moving on to friendlier territory, the gang looks back on their favorite TV cartoons and Saturday morning fare, including Gummi Bears, Angry Beavers, Saved by the Bell, and, somehow, Gordon Jump's sinister guest turn on Diff'rent Strokes. Becca shares an overdubbed GI Joe safety message known simply as Pork Chop Sandwiches, whereas Tice recalls a particularly cheesy anti-drug ad from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and we do not mean cheesy as in pizza.
After a quick exchange about coffee preferences, Tice brings in his finacée, Abbie, to play the classic Word-at-a-Time improv game Casanova! Does the Levi Man have what it takes to woo his own intended? Listen and find out...
In an episode that is Absolute Fire, we hang out with Becca and Jay's long-time friend, local actor, producer, and drag queen Jonathan Fair, who is also the founder of Bright Beginnings Learning Academy. Jonathan shares some of his hilarious stories from his experiences in auditions and in theatre (including Reefer Madness and Avenue Q). He also describes his role in producing Dragalicious, a DMV-area drag show, and his thoughts on the art form of drag. And as if that weren't enough, he reprises the stories of Charlotte's Cousin and Ass Cakes (originally seen on his livestreams) and tells us about his early education work creating his own theatre schools in Northern Virginia. Jay also makes sure to give Jonathan due credit for many of his favorite catch-phrases on B2B, including "Fix it, Jesus!"
As the episode progresses, Jonathan and Jay collaborate on a drag persona for Tice, to be known as Destiny Tissé. What form will Destiny take? That, and the results of another round of Fast Money, can only be learned by listening to this episode of Between Two Butts!
Between 2 Butts comes back from a sabbatical fully vaccinated, recharged, reinvigorated, and busting 245 lb. squats at the gym...although Becca has lingering doubts about her pre-"paused" J & J shot. Jay bestows Tice (aka "the Producer" aka "the Professor" aka "the Reston Virginia Treat" aka "the Master of Old-Timey" aka "Rover/Wanderer/Nomad/Vagabond/Call Him What You Will") with yet another moniker for his intro. You'll have to listen to find out what it is; rest assured, it's complicated.
This episode it's our pleasure to sit down with Leandra Lynn, managing director of Britches and Hose Theatre and host of the Rocky Horror Minute Podcast. We discuss Leandra's introduction to theatre (with its origins in Rocky Horror and tap-dance), her theater company, and her careers in shadow-casting, cosplay, and podcasting.
On the Rocky Horror Minute podcast, Leandra (and co-host Kelly Hanson) devote each episode to exactly one minute of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, but on our podcast, Leandra finds herself in a game where even a minute is too long, the Family Feud Fast Money round! Talk about a Time Warp! Will she and Becca amass the coveted 200 points? Will Jay and Tice determine exactly what they win if they succeed? Tune in and find out!

Here it is, Buttmunchkins: the episode we streamed live on Facebook March 26, 2021! Jay shares his 4th favorite thing on the Interwebs! Becca shares her 5 favorite movies! Tice is still loving on newspaper comic Heathcliff! Becca reads the live comments! The gang plays another round of True Confessions! Did Jay destroy the Bronze Bomber? Did Tice destroy private property? Did Becca destroy the dance floor...with dinner? It's all on Episode 32-- it may not be live but it's still arrived!
Greetings and happy (UGGGGGGGH) Aries season Butt-keteers! This week our guest is cosplayer Brandon James, whose handiwork must be seen on Instagram to be truly appreciated. In his handmade costumes, he has attended cons as a Xenomorph, Robin, Mr. Freeze, the Penguin, The Pale Man, Jafar, and many more. In this episode, he discusses his first childhood foray into cosplay, making costumes (sometimes in the car on to the way to the con), how to survive 8 hour days in a hot costume, scaring kids, and of course, ooze. (Becca's journalistic skills really shine in this episode as she takes the Barbara Walters seat!) Finally-- there have been many incarnations of the Pyramid gameshow franchise, including the $10,000 Pyramid, $25,000 Pyramid, and $100,000 Pyramid among others, but in this episode we play a version of Pyramid for a prize NEVER BEFORE SEEN in the long and storied history of Pyramid that you'll just have to listen to find out about!
And be sure not to miss a single one of Brandon's cosplays by following him at https://www.instagram.com/brandonjamescosplay/!
Our banger Three Oh episode begins with Jay making a pledge to be nicer to Becca, and then immediately putting to the test Becca's ability to be nice back to him as he reels off a list of non-sexual words (*SPOILER*: They're sexual.) that make him giggle. Becca, under such circumstances, refuses to meet kindness with kindness. Once that topic is put to bed, Tice picks up on a thread from our recent Friends episode and brings up several strange, unsatisfying and/or infuriating series finales (Like, did Mork and Mindy end up forever trapped in a drawing?). Then, Becca shares some words of wisdom: "Work with your body, not on your body", and talks body acceptance as all three discuss their experiences with weight loss. Then, we take our respectability level right back into the basement with some Dating Video 1-Liners. Between 2 Butts: The podcast that doesn't care which way you swipe!
Final moments of "I Married Dora", a piss-poor sitcom that, frankly, figured out the best way to call it a day.
Everyone's coming in hot in Episode 29! Jay has brought another one of his favorite Kenneth Copeland remix videos, linked below, and then Becca, Tice and Jay get out all their hot takes on Friends as Becca examines what was problematic about the show. (Between Two Butts itself, after all, is committed to providing 100% non-problematic material!) Spoilers abound, but one discussion point we think is safe for this episode description is..."Friends" might not have been that good. In the meantime, we also get into Frasier vs Cheers, and Jay declares himself firmly on the Frasier side. But which Frasier cast member does he most closely identify with? That we will NOT spoil!
Tice brings our game this week from the Dr. Gameshow Extended Universe: "Dr. Why Is?", a guessing game in which you can only use Google auto-suggestions as clues.
Lil KC's COVID 19 REMIX
We begin with a St. Valentine's Day flashback, as this episode was taped a few weeks ago. It turns out that sleet, hail, snow and Covid did manage to keep us all in, or at least, that's Tice's best guess since he can't remember. Then local actor Matt Baughman sits down with us to talk about his acting journey, which includes four turns as Charlie in Flowers for Algernon and a performance as Uncle Ernie in Tommy. We talk about tough directors, Matt's transition from sports into theatre, being in shows where the star gets most of the stage time and the supporting cast doesn't get much to do, and choices you can make when the song and your vocal range don't match.
Then we learn about Matt's own podcast, "The Clink Tank", where "...guys who are experts in absolutely nothing provide advice, opinions and ideas on almost everything". And we wrap up by borrowing a game from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, "True Confessions".
This week, Tice, Jay and Becca sit down with local actor Caty Nicholson as she talks theatre, her stage debut as shy Rudolph, moving to NYC and getting the shingles, entrepreneurship, non-sex-cult marketing programs, cosmetics, and her upcoming elephant-free Indian wedding. Then, Caty treats us to many of her signature Dad/Mom jokes, which charms the B2B gang so thoroughly that they offer her a chance to win her elephant in a round of Family Feud Fast Money, in which she is teamed with Becca! Will their powers combine for victory? Tune in and find out!
We open with "(How Can I Get You) Alone?" by Heart, but once Jay has said his piece about not trying to sing like the singer who sing the song when YOU sing the song, Tice digs into a topic that he has been saving up for a long time: Heathcliff. Namely, the newspaper comic Heathcliff (who is the same as the cat from the animated series in the 80s), which in recent years has gone down a surrealist rabbit hole and built up a Twitter fandom. As Tice introduces Jay and Becca to the Heathcliff universe, we talk about the Garbage Ape, Garfield, furries, Wimpy, Mr. Magoo, phallic cannons, bubble gum, what bubble gum could be a euphemism for, ham helmets, ham skirts, and so much more. And no matter how nonsensical Heathcliff gets, one thing is made abundantly clear: Becca hates this. We then wrap things up with a rousing (or is it arousing?!) edition of the improv game Penthouse Forum.
