Jen started her journey into fitness and personal training in 2008, and shortly after became a mom to her daughter in 2009. Her interest in training stemmed from a desire to break away from the all-or-nothing thinking that was prevalent in the fitness world, but in her early days as a trainer, Jen still struggled with persistent messaging that smaller is better and ideas about "good" vs "bad" foods. Through years of working with many different humans, growing to understand a variety of unique physiologies and life struggles, while also working to undo the physical damage the diet culture mindset had done to her own body as a runner, Jen's fitness philosophy continued to evolve. Now, with over a decade of training experience, on top of her growth as a wife, mother, and a runner, Jen is on a mission to help everyone realize their own personal definition of Fit, Healthy, and Happy.
