Scott Trout's story of acting, fame, and trying to be the life of the party all the while still trying to be a Christian and "measure up" spiritually. This led to a constant battle of trying to please those around him and getting lost in who he actually wanted to be. What Scott needed was to realize he is just a seed not an autonomous human being, and he needed to submit to the process of "being gardened."

The Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v Wade is a huge hit to human rights. Gay marriage, gay partnerships, and contraception could be next.  This is not the end of what the conservative court is planning to do. But none of this is new. There has been a steady progression in American conservatism toward fascism.
