Lorna Landvik has been many things in her life - an actress, a comedian, a temp worker at the Playboy mansion....but what she is loved for in Minnesota is her novels. 22 years later, she's written a sequel to her very first book Patty Jane's House of Curl and it's just been published by the University of MN Press . Eric Bergeson has written a new book especially for gardeners in the Dakotas and northwestern Minnesota, called Successful Gardening on the Northern Prairie . Eric hails from the town of Fertile, MN, population 800, located about midway between Bemidji and Fargo. His grandfather started Bergeson Nursery in 1936, growing strawberries in the middle of a peat bog.
