Bev's Video Kingdom

Scotch Beck takes the wheel of this tractor which just happens to be plowing the fields and planting seed on a certain farm. Which farm? Well, check out This Is Spinal Tap for your answer (hint: it's a very naughty farm!). The BVK crew grabbed our instruments, packed our armadillos into our trousers, and gave more than just a two-word review of this Christopher Guest classic.

MATT DAMON! Aside from slangin' dubious crypto opportunities, Matty D acts on the side. The BVK crew sat down to draft some his most memorable characters and then let self-proclaimed Damon expert, Nate, bust out some equations and shit to choose a winner. Renowned movie sabermatician, Brad, also gives a rundown of the BVK draft stats and totals to this point of 2022. CHECK IT OUT!

If you haven't been listening over the last year, the BVK crew would just like to say, it's not your fault. Hey... it's not your fault. But, we are sure happy as hell to have you join us as we begin our second year of Bev's Video Kingdom, kicking off with the Daffleck or Affmon (whichever you prefer) penned classic, Good Will Hunting. We tackle important questions such as, could Sean bench 285, do Will and Skylar see their happily ever after, and why are snacks so important?

Spotlight is a movie that deals with mature themes of sexual abuse and rape, particularly of underage children. LISTENER DISCRETION IS ADVISED! The BVK crew welcomes a friend of the pod, Justin, to discuss this sobering movie. Justin shares his experiences as an altar boy at a church led by convicted pedophile Oliver O'Grady.

Your mission, if you choose to accept it is to listen to our hilarious draft of the most memorable movie spies, and then secretly subscribe to the BVK podcast on AT LEAST three people's phones! This pod won't self-destruct, but a couple of the drafters feel like self-destructing after super spy, Scotch Beck, uncovers their secret plans!

BVK employs their own particular sets of skills in revisiting the mid-2000's Liam Neeson action thriller. As expected they look deep into the film, enhance the images, and figure out that Taken is pretty ridiculous. The boys are also joined by former Icelandic police officer and current actor, Einar Haraldsson, to talk about policing around the world.

47 seasons of Saturday Night Live have created some amazing sketches throughout the years and some of those folks have gone on to star in some both legendary as well as total dogshit movies. Josh, from the Hoisting Heavys pod, is back and drafting along side the BVK crew as they try to impress judge Scotch Beck with some memorable films starring SNL alums.
