College... a time for learning about yourself. A time for expanding your horizons and meeting new people. A time for attacking groups of drug dealers with electric carving knives. Welcome to Camden College where Dawson finally got his ass out of the creek. BVK breaks down this wildly inconsistent film with tales of their own college days shared with Brad's college pal, Amanda. Tune in for hilarious accounts of dorm room shenanigans, some outstanding "Shag, Snag, Bodybag" picks and Amanda's enduring love for Fred Savage.
What if there was a man who could fly a fighter jet, drive a racecar, argue in court, complete some top rate espionage, kill some bad guys, negotiate an amazing sports contract, arrest future criminals, and then still have time to head out to the pool hall where he'll mix you up a nice Sex on the Beach... does this man exist? He does and his name is Tom Cruise and he's been in a bunch of movies. The BVK crew, along with Scotch Beck at the scorer's table, choose some Cruise characters. Winner gets to become a Scientologist.
What makes a great movie bank robber? Great masks? Great planning? Great execution? Great violence??? Plenty of talented and not-so-talented bank robbers get chosen here and we bring back Jeremy Fraye (the Hollywood legend and the man behind some of the most delicious tapenade you'll ever taste - available at papanadetapenade.com!) to divvy up the loot and declare someone a winner. Get to this episode quickly and stay away from the vault!
The BVK crew has not had to resort to robbing banks... yet, but they decided to scope out 2016's "Hell or High Water" to get some tips in case the need arises. This go around they recruited Andrew Cromarty to put down his admin badge keeping the Rewatchable's facebook group from falling into chaos to help them discuss just how much dust is in West Texas and other Hell or High Water related issues.
When our robot overlords take over Earth in the near-future, we just hope they show some favor to the BVK crew based on this episode where we choose our favorite robots and cyborgs to ever appear in a movie. Some of these picks are pure terror inducing evil and some of them are amazing companions always willing to go the extra mile, but ultimately somebody's choices had to be judged as the best. We left that task up to Scotch Beck's older brother, Tim, with the hopes he'd be able to prevent Scotch from winning another draft. Get to listening, because... YOU NOW HAVE FIVE SECONDS TO COMPLY!
Come with us if you want to live! BVK returns with one of the biggest blockbuster movies of all-time where we discuss all the important details of this classic such as how much detail SkyNet puts into the T-800's junk, how much disability the LAPD had to pay out in this flick, and how John Connor being ten years old is absolutely hilarious. Mark Christopher Lawrence (Chuck - Big Mike, Fear of a Black Hat - Tone Def, T2 - Burly Attendant) joins to speak about his journey from growing up in Compton, CA to a long career in the entertainment biz including having Arnold Schwarzenegger throw him into a window while rescuing Sarah Connor.
Not all movie dystopias are equal. In some it's a fight for water, in others humans are bowing down to their robot overlords, and in some others we have the robots picking up the mess we've made. The BVK crew (along with Andrew Cromarty) locks and loads to venture out to choose the most memorable dystopias in movies with hopes of laughs and success in bringing you, the loyal BVK audience, some joy in the current dystopia... we mean world... we are currently living in.
