The Apostle Peter warns of a time when scoffers will claim that physical processes go on and on without any divine intervention. Peter specifically mentions that these scoffers will reject creation, the flood, and the coming judgment by fire.

He also warns that they’ll try to lead Christians away into their error. Sadly, many of today’s scoffers are succeeding. They deny the history of God’s Word and lead many Christians to do the same.

We need to heed Peter’s warning today and beware of the scoffers’ arguments. Let God be true, and every scoffer a liar. God’s Word is true—from the very beginning.
