From the freemasons and fraternities to some more nefarious organizations like the KKK and the Mafia, Amy clarifies one thing that all secret societies have in common – their sheer existence isn't so secret. Instead, members often take oaths to keep their respective group’s rituals and practices hush-hush not the organization itself. They may no longer hold the key to global politics, economics, and culture, but it’s no secret why so many secret societies get so much attention from very curious publics.
