Beyond Busyness

As I was creating the outline for this episode, I realized that I only have a few summers left until my kiddos will be old enough to work or will be off to college. And I absolutely hate the thought of wishing the summer away so that I can just get back to my "normal" routine and grow my business.

But, I truly believe that it is possible to enjoy the summer with your family WHILE growing your business, without having to sacrifice one or the other.

In today's episode, I'm sharing what I do to help balance life + business over the summer months so that I don't feel like I'm missing out on time with my kids, or wishing the summer away.

After being a teacher for 8 years and having summers off to spend with my family, becoming a fulltime entrepreneur was really tough for me.

I wanted to be able to go to the pool whenever I wanted. I wanted to be able to take my kids to the zoo on a nice day. I wanted to feel that FREEDOM I had as a school-aged kid and when I was a teacher. I wanted to be able to successfully maintain +/or GROW my business, without feeling tethered to it.

So around this time every year, I start prepping my business for the summer months so that I don't lose momentum and can still enjoy my summer with my family fully.

In this episode, I share the 6 things you can start doing TODAY to prep your business for the summer.

I am so excited to introduce you to my friend, Allison Hardy, on this episode.

Allison is an email marketing expert and the host of the 6-Figure Secrets Podcast. She helps coaches and experts enroll new clients into their courses or memberships on autopilot.

This is honestly why I wanted to work with Allison in the first place and bring her on the podcast to share not only her story, but also how she sets her business up for success with systems and automation.

This conversation is so insightful and you can see how she is definitely the expert at what she does.

The one question I feel like I answer more than any other when it comes to my business is... "How do you stay so consistent on social media? What's your posting schedule?" OK, so that's 2 questions but they're always asked together. Because, like my clients, you know the importance of showing up consistently on social media in your business. It's one of the easiest, most effective ways of getting visible -- without paying for ads. But, like most of my clients, creating content doesn't come naturally or easy to all of us. Guess what? It doesn't really to me either. But, like everything else in my business, I've created a system that has helped me stay consistent and take LESS TIME creating content that helps me grow my email list and bring in more clients. And I'm sharing my personal posting plan and some other hacks to help you get consistent, grow your email list, and bring in more clients in today's podcast!
