  • 26 || how Krysti found balance in life + business
In today’s episode, I sit down with Krysti, a plus-size personal trainer and body confidence coach, to talk about her journey as a mom, business owner, and Beyond Busyness member. Krysti opens up about the pressures of juggling a business, motherhood, and self-care, and how she was stuck in the cycle of overwhelm before joining Beyond Busyness.

We dive deep into the challenges of being a mom in today’s world, shifting the narrative from weight loss to body confidence, and breaking free from the 'busy equals success' mindset. Krysti shares how the program helped her manage her time more effectively, balance her priorities, and find more freedom in her day-to-day life. If you’ve ever felt like you’re constantly spinning your wheels trying to do it all, you won’t want to miss this episode!

  • 24 || creating back to school routines that work
There are less than 2 weeks left before my kiddos head back to school for 4th and 7th grade. I honestly cannot believe that in 2 short years, I'll have one in high school and the other in middle school.

But, I don't want to get too far ahead of myself because this school year hasn't even started yet.

And while I've enjoyed the last 81 days of not having to pack a lunch for my kids, I always look forward to a "fresh start" that the new school year brings.

The summer is a lot more relaxed in our household with all 4 of us home (since the husband is in the education world), which means I want to start thinking about our morning and afterschool routines to set our schoolyear up for success on a regular basis.

Because I know that without a solid routine in place (especially that morning routine for me), I'll start feeling overwhelmed and fall behind on everything that needs to get done around the house.

On today's episode, I'm sharing 3 steps I take when I am planning ANY new routine, but especially those daily routines that are so crucial for the success of our days. Plus, I take you behind the scenes on what my actual morning routine looks like.

  • 23 || getting vulnerable about being a mom + entrepreneur with Rachel McMichael
I am so excited to finally get to introduce you to my friend, my mentor, and my fellow co-owner of Magnify Your Content, Rachel McMichael!

Here's the thing you need to know about Rachel... I didn't even know it was possible to work just 4-hours a day, 4 days per week until Rachel came along.

But, that's not how it was for me OR her when we started on our respective entrepreneurial journeys.

And because Rachel is a good friend of mine, I asked her some questions that made her get a little vulnerable with where she was just a few years ago, and how she's learned how to balance motherhood and being a successful multi-six-figure business owner.

If you loved this episode, be sure to follow Rachel on Instagram and give her podcast a listen (it's so so good)!

  • 22 || how to achieve your 2024 goals by the end of the year
Does anyone else forget about their goals by the end of January? Or is that just me?!

Although I'm an Enneagram 9, I am also someone who LOVES to achieve some goals. Mostly just getting things crossed off my list every single day, but having some sort of outcome in mind helps motivate me to actually take action.

Because that's just it... your goals really aren't about your goals. They're about action.

And in today's episode, I'm sharing the 4 questions I ask myself about my goals to help me achieve them over and over and over again.

If you loved this episode, could you take a few minutes to rate and review this podcast? This helps my podcast get seen by other people who might find it valuable! Thanks!

  • 21 || finding time for your goals with Jasmin Niemiec
I am so excited to introduce you to my guest today, Jasmin Niemiec! Jasmin is a mom of 4 and an entrepreneur... but she's also the person who helped me start my entrepreneurial journey 8 years ago.

Through Jasmin's coaching, I was able to learn how to grow and scale my business so that I could quit my teaching job, but she also taught me a TON about time management.

Because as you know, raising a business + kids is not an easy task -- especially during the busy summer months.

I loved all Jasmin's tips and tricks for how she manages to be an amazing mom while growing her online business in this episode!

  • 20 || where I started, pivoting, and creating your 4 hour work day
If you've been around my business for awhile, you already know that what I'm doing today (time management, planning, and content) is NOT where I started.

Actually, where I started is about the farthest thing away from those things.

Here's the thing about being an entrepreneur...

You probably have more than one thing you are passionate about, and that's OK. You probably have a million ideas running through your head right now. Some are great, and some need some more time to marinate.

But, knowing when to pivot can be tough at times.

In today's episode, I'm changing things up a bit -- or pivoting. Instead of interviewing my friend Rachel McMichael, she interviews me about where my entrepreneurial journey started, the many pivots I've made, as well as some of the mistakes I see many female entrepreneurs make that are costing them valuable time.

(And don't worry, I'll be interviewing Rachel a little later this summer too!)

  • 19 || overcoming struggles as an entrepreneur with Kristin Maahs
I am so excited to introduce you to my friend Kristin Maahs in today's episode. Kristin is a course creation coach who helps coaches, consultants, and service providers increase their income and impact while also getting their time back by becoming an effective course creator.

And just like having the same name, we also have very similar backgrounds to how we started our entrepreneurship journey. We dive deep into the struggles we both have faced as entrepreneurs and how Kristin has found ways to fight through them and make being a business owner AND a mom work for her!

This is an especially helpful episode as we head into the summer months when the kids are home and how to balance it all.

  • 18 || summer reading list to boost your productivity
The summer is approaching, which means I will be spending almost all of my free time at the pool or on vacation with the family in Florida or Branson.

And because that also means a lot of time sitting in a chair, I love to get a list of books together so that I'm not just twiddling my thumbs.

On this episode, I'm sharing my favorite personal development books, as well as my top 3 five-star reads that I'm still thinking about to this day.

But, I'd love for you to email me or DM me over on Instagram and give me so of your favorite books to add to my TBR list this summer too!
