In this episode, we discuss the keys to the Norwegian training method.  Given the massive successes the Norwegian’s have had from the Ironman World Championships to International Track and Field, Coach Ted dissects how these Norwegian athletes are training in order to produce their world record breaking performances. We are calling this episode “The Lost Episode” as it was recorded back in March of 2023 and it sat on the shelf for some time.  We weren't sure if it was going to ever get released because we had other shows pile on and lost track of this one.  But, I pulled it off the shelf, listened, and enjoyed it. Doug and Aileen are back with their post L.A. Marathon debrief!  How did their first marathon turn out?  We hear all about the days leading up to the marathon, the race and a little post-race analysis with Ted.  

In this episode, we talk to Dr. Robert Nierzwicki. He is a cardiologist in the Chicagoland area and lives a healthy, active lifestyle through triathlons and CrossFit. We discuss Bob's recent transition back into half-Ironman distance triathlons and rehash some old times. In the second part of this episode, Coach Ted gets to pick Bob's brain with questions that have come from his training of athletes with heart conditions.
