David and Goliath is not a story about facing your fears. David is a type of Christ in Scripture, his life was meant to point us to Christ.
Many of us heard Bible stories repetitively in their childhood. But, too many times the stories of Scripture lose their meaning and focus on Christ. Our Beyond the Flannel Graph series is going to tackle these familiar Bible narratives by refocusing on the grand story of God’s Word.
The story of David points to the Gospel. David’s life teaches us about the Gospel.
