Just because you get important people to approve what you’re doing doesn’t make it right. We see this in 1 Kings 1:1-2, where Adonijah sets himself up as king and has support from those around him. He does not seek the Lord in this decision but instead exalts himself to this position. 

In this episode, Brody walks through this story of Solomon becoming king. Solomon becomes king because of the plan and purpose of the Lord. God’s people will always work together to advance his plans and his kingdom.
