Hey listeners! It's time for a brand new series called "The Ten Commandments", and today we're happy to share the first episode of that series.  Before we had the law and documented rules for our lives, there was a lot of things going on in Israel that God needed to address, so through this beautiful picture of salvation and rescue we have Moses and his first-hand encounter with the God of the universe. Follow along with us in Exodus 20 as we start our dive into the 10 Commandments.

Pastor Nate kicked off a new series digging into the 10 commandments and the connection to Jesus.  We started off with the 1st commandment of having no other gods before Yahweh.  To grasp the first commandment, we must understand there is no other god than the triune God.  There is no competition.  So, why do we try to put things in the place where God will always be?

We are grateful for God-fearing women.  In this message, Pastor Nate encourages all women to run after God and be what they are called to be.

Another season in the making!  This is our first episode of our 6th season and it's fitting that we're talking about our recent 'Vision Sunday' at Avenue!  Where we looked at where we were, where we are, and where we want to go.  So join us as we look beyond and towards the future as a body of believers in Jesus Christ!

Today we took some significant time to talk about where God is asking us to go over the next 1, 3, and 5 years.  Pastor Nate and Woody share with us the significance of mission and vision as a church.  Will you join us to help take Avenue to the next part of the journey?  It's going to take all of us as God leads us.

As Pastor Nate concluded our I AM series on Resurrection Sunday, not only do we celebrate the fact that Jesus rose from the dead.  Jesus IS the Resurrection and Life.  In other words, he is in control of death and life.  We hope you have enjoyed this series that depends on our faith in Christ.

Hey everyone!  Thank you for joining us for today's episode, we're so grateful for you and all of our listeners who jump in to see what's going on at Avenue Church, Beyond The Row.  Today we're getting close to ending our sermon series about the seven "I AM" statements of Christ, and this past Sunday was about when Jesus referred to Himself as the 'The Bread of Life'.

When we begin to think of Jesus as the Bread of Life, it shows us how the human race was created to crave food.  The question becomes, do we crave the Bread of Life, or do we crave other breads that leave us hungry and empty?

Our 5th "I AM" statement in our sermon series, also entitled "I AM", is the statement Christ made about being 'The Gate', or in some translations, 'The Door'.   It means in many ways that Jesus is simply the ONLY way to the Father, and to an eternity free from death.   How can we apply that to our lives?  Is He really the only way?  We talk about these questions today as well as some other hot topics (including the dangers of making ourselves our own masters) on today's episode of "Beyond the Row".   Thank you for joining in!
