Bade Bhai Sahab (बड़े भाई साहब) is a very special story written by the legendary Munshi Premchand (31 July 1880 – 08 October 1936) with a rare mix of wit, humour and sarcasm.
Premchand's stories are being taught to students at both school and college levels. Arguably, India's greatest novelist of Godaan fame, Premchand penned hugely popular short stories such as Kafan, Do Bailon Ki Katha, Poos Ki Raat, Eidgaah, Thakur Ka Kuan, Boodhi Kaaki, Namak Ka Daroga, Bade Bhai Sahab and Nasha.
Pervaiz Alam, Director, Cine Ink and former producer with BBC Hindi & Urdu Services in London, presents the story in his voice. Editing and Mixing by Chandra Mohan.
