Christians can benefit from reading the book of Revelation. However many avoid reading it because they have believed it requires specialists to understand it. This is not correct. All Christians can benefit from reading the book. Certain guidelines will increase your benefit. So listen to this message and take up the book and read.
The one who reads this is blessed, and those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep what is written in it are blessed, because the time is near! Revelation 1:3 HCSB

People in their natural condition are not in a right relationship with the holy God due to man' state of sin. When people are awaken to their situation they attempt to build bridges to reach God on their own. Self generated bridges will never reach God. If a person is to be saved, find access and acceptance with God then he must walk on the bridge God has built. Only faith in Jesus Christ will brings us to the holy God.

The ascension of Jesus into heaven 40 days after his resurrection is one of the most significant events in history. The resurrected Man Messiah Jesus who in his person is both true God and true man entered the very throne room of heaven, the holy of holies. There he presents his once all sufficient for all sacrifice to the Father on our behalf. He ministers for us in receiving and conveying our prayers and worship to God. Consider Jesus our great high priest!

Jesus Christ arose from the day three days after his crucifixion and for 40 days he met with his disciples under various circumstances. Then he disappeared! So where is Jesus now?
Luke gives us the answer in Luke 24 and Acts 1. The Man Messiah Jesus returned to Father in glory. The gospels and the letters of the New Testament treat the ascension of Jesus and his rule at the right hand of God as present reality. This podcast considers two reasons why Jesus ascension is so important.

We can only understand the meaning of the death of Jesus of Nazareth when viewed from the fact of his resurrection from the dead. Jesus arose. He who was dead 3 days arose from the dead and he lives forever. The New Testament is written from this perspective. The proclamation of this reality that his foes could not counter is what spread the message. A living Savior who had atoned for them filled their hearts with joy and their souls with peace. Christ resurrection proved his claims and was the divine receipt that sin had been atoned and people could now have eternal fellowship with the holy God.

Which apostle do you think would not be one of the first eyewitnesses to the resurrected Jesus? Surely not Peter who had denied publicly three times and with curses! Yet Peter was the first of the Apostles to actually see the risen Jesus. How could this be? What happened with Peter and his Lord?
