Bible Mysteries

In this Bible lesson, Scott Mitchell continues The Secret of the Lord series by addressing the growing apostasy within the modern church and online platforms. False teachers and influencers are spreading confusion for attention, but scripture makes clear that understanding the mysteries of God protects believers from deception. This teaching focuses on Israel’s temporary blindness and the current dispensation of grace revealed through the Apostle Paul.

Psalm 25:14 declares that the Lord reveals His secret to those who fear Him and enter into covenant through Jesus Christ. Scott explains how this hidden truth unfolds in God’s plan: Israel’s rejection of their Messiah opened the door for the gospel of grace to go to the Gentiles. Paul received a unique ministry directly from the risen Christ, preaching salvation by faith apart from the law.

Scripture shows that Israel’s blindness was foretold and is only “in part” and “until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.” God has not replaced Israel. The kingdom program is paused, not canceled, and national restoration will occur when the Lord returns. Today, both Jew and Gentile are saved individually through the gospel of grace, not through the Mosaic law or national covenant.

This lesson emphasizes why rightly dividing the Word of Truth matters. Confusing the gospel of the kingdom with the gospel of grace leads to legalism, works-based teaching, and doctrinal error. Understanding the Lord’s secret brings clarity, assurance, and confidence in Christ’s finished work.

In this episode, Scott Mitchell welcomes back Pastor Gary P. Miller, author of The Way of Cain, Creation: In the Beginning, and Hell: God’s Prison. Together, they examine the biblical roots of false religion and how Cain’s rebellion set the pattern for man-made righteousness, spiritual deception, and the religious systems that will shape the last days.

Gary explains how the Way of Cain originated with Adam’s fall, the redefinition of good and evil, and the first attempt to approach God through human effort rather than faith. The conversation touches on spiritual death, the coats of skins, the seed war between Cain and Abel, Cain as the archetype of religious elites, and the prophetic connection between Cain’s mark and the future mark of the Beast.

This episode provides a sober look at the ancient conflict still influencing global religion and power today.

In this lesson, we continue our series on The Secret of the Lord by examining one of the most significant transitions in all of Scripture: God’s appointment of the Apostle Paul to reveal a new message for a new dispensation. As anti-Pauline rhetoric increases and biblical truth is challenged on every side, it becomes all the more important for believers to understand the mystery program God revealed through Paul—the gospel of grace.

Psalm 25:14 declares that “the secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him,” and this session focuses on how that secret opens with Paul’s divine calling. We trace the events surrounding his conversion, the confirmation of his apostleship, and the distinction between the gospel of the kingdom and the gospel of grace. Through selected passages in Acts, Galatians, and the words of Christ Himself, this study clarifies why God set aside Israel’s national program for a season and began extending salvation to all nations through faith alone.

Key themes include:

This lesson reinforces that understanding God’s mysteries is essential for standing firm in a time of rising apostasy. The same truth Paul received—salvation by grace through faith—remains God’s offer to all who believe today.

Episode 259: The Terrible Ones – Satanic Elites and the Oppression of the Meek

The phrase “terrible ones” appears only three times in the Bible, yet it reveals a deep mystery concerning the enemies of God’s people. In this episode, Scott Mitchell and John Potts examine the identity and purpose of these terrible ones—those who seek to dominate and destroy the meek of the earth. From the false prophets of Israel to modern times, Scripture exposes these ruthless powers as agents of Satanic control who oppress the poor, corrupt the nations, and persecute the saints.

In this Bible study, Scott Mitchell continues The Secret of the Lord series, revealing how God’s hidden plan unfolded through a divine transition—from the gospel of the kingdom preached to Israel to the gospel of the grace of God revealed to all mankind.

As deception and false doctrine increase in these last days, Scott emphasizes the importance of understanding the mysteries of God to remain steadfast in truth. Using passages from Psalms, Matthew, Acts, and Ephesians, he traces how God used both Peter and Paul to unveil His greater purpose. Peter was given the keys to the kingdom and opened the door of faith to the Gentiles; Paul was then sent through that door with a new revelation of salvation by grace through faith.

This study explores the rejection of Israel’s kingdom message, Saul’s dramatic conversion on the road to Damascus, Peter’s vision that led to Cornelius’ salvation, and how these pivotal events marked a new dispensation—the church age founded on grace, not law.

Scott reminds believers that understanding this transition is vital to guarding against modern deception and grounding ourselves in sound doctrine. The same Lord who revealed the secret of His covenant continues to reveal the riches of His grace to those who fear Him.

In this continuation of The Spiritual Battle series, Scott Mitchell welcomes back Peter Ohlinger of The Days of Noah Podcast and Rodney Smith of The Millennial Mustard Seed Podcast for the second part of their TriCast round table. Together they examine how spiritual warfare is manifesting through modern technology, transhumanism, and global deception preparing the world for the antichrist system.

As demonic influence resurges and society drifts further from truth, the conversation urges believers to recognize the unseen battle behind these movements. Scott and his guests highlight the importance of spiritual discernment, prayer, and unwavering faith in Christ amid accelerating deception.

This powerful discussion reminds listeners that the outcome of this warfare is already settled—the victory belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ. Yet every believer is called to stand firm, hold fast to sound doctrine, and be a light in an increasingly dark world.

Brother Scott Mitchell continues his series The Secret of the Lord with a powerful message on how Israel’s rejection of their Messiah opened the way for God’s hidden plan of grace to be revealed. Drawing from Psalm 25:14, Matthew 3–4, and Acts 7, Scott explains how the Kingdom of Heaven was first offered to Israel as a national promise but was later withheld due to unbelief and rebellion.

Jesus and John the Baptist both preached repentance and the nearness of the Kingdom, but Israel’s refusal to receive Him led to a pivotal turning point in God’s timeline. Through the stoning of Stephen and the rise of Paul’s ministry, God unveiled a new gospel—salvation by grace through faith for all who believe.

Scott explores the difference between the gospel of the Kingdom and the gospel of grace, showing how understanding the Secret of the Lord keeps believers anchored in truth amid modern deception. This message reminds us that God’s plan was never thwarted—only expanded—so that both Jew and Gentile might receive His mercy through Christ.
