October 26, 2025The Secret of the Lord Part 1: Understanding God’s Mysteries in the Last Days
Brother Scott begins a foundational series on The Secret of the Lord, revealing the spiritual truths God has reserved for those who fear Him. Drawing from both Old and New Testament scriptures, Scott explains that “the secret” is not hidden knowledge for a select few but divine counsel shared with the faithful.
In this first message, he addresses Jesus’ warning about end-time deception, Paul’s prophecy of a falling away, and the growing rejection of Pauline doctrine in the modern church. Through passages in Psalms, Proverbs, Amos, and 1 Corinthians, Scott shows how understanding the mysteries of God protects believers from apostasy and strengthens their faith in Christ’s finished work.
Scripture References
Psalm 25:14 • Psalm 25:1–5 • Psalm 12:6–7 • Proverbs 3:32 • Amos 3:7 • Deuteronomy 29:29 • 2 Timothy 2:7 • 1 Timothy 2:5–7 • 1 Corinthians 2:7–15 • 1 Corinthians 4:1 • Daniel 2:22 • Matthew 13:34–35 • Romans 16:25–26 • Proverbs 25:2
Key Points
End-Time Deception: Jesus’ first warning in Matthew 24 was against deception — a sign that truth would be distorted in the last days.

The Departing from the Faith: Paul’s prophecy of apostasy is unfolding as sound doctrine is replaced with heresy and self-willed interpretations.

The Meaning of “Secret”: In Hebrew (sode), it refers to intimate counsel with God — fellowship with the righteous who fear Him.

The Mystery Revealed: In Greek (musterion), it signifies divine truths hidden from unbelievers but revealed to the faithful through the Holy Spirit.

Paul’s Distinct Revelation: God revealed to Paul the hidden wisdom concerning salvation by grace through faith, distinct from Israel’s national program.

Rightly Dividing the Word: Understanding this distinction prevents confusion and strengthens believers in sound doctrine.

Faith in the Finished Work of Christ: Today’s salvation is not tied to Israel’s covenant but to the revealed mystery of grace through Christ Jesus.
Key Quotes
“The secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him, and He will shew them His covenant.” — Psalm 25:14
Takeaway
To withstand deception, believers must seek spiritual understanding through the Scriptures, allowing the Holy Spirit to reveal the mysteries of God. The Secret of the Lord is not a code to decipher but a relationship of trust and revelation with the living God.

October 15, 2025Mystery Mailbag #14 – Can Demons Possess Animals and Do Pets Go to Heaven?
In this Mystery Mailbag edition, Scott Mitchell answers listener questions about demons and animals, Islamic influence in end-times prophecy, pets in heaven, the “Three Days of Darkness,” interpretations of music and symbolism, and the portrayal of biblical figures in art. These heartfelt questions reflect the curiosity and faith of believers seeking clarity through Scripture.
Listener Questions Featured
Demonic Possession in Animals – Pam
Pam wonders whether demonic spirits can inhabit animals as part of spiritual warfare.
Scott discusses biblical examples such as Jesus casting devils into a herd of swine, noting that Scripture provides no indication of ongoing possession of animals beyond that account. He emphasizes discernment, prayer, and fasting when facing spiritual concerns, while recognizing that animal behavior is usually just part of their nature.
Will Muslims Persecute Christians? – Cindy
Cindy asks whether Islam could be the driving force behind Christian persecution in the end times.
Scott explains that Satan uses all religious and political systems—not just Islam—to oppose the truth of God. He warns that persecution will come from multiple fronts, including government, false religion, and global elites, leading toward the rise of the Antichrist.
Will My Pets Be in Heaven? – Liz
Liz shares the heartbreaking loss of her two dogs and asks if beloved pets will be in heaven.
Scott offers comfort, reminding listeners that God’s love and desire for His children’s joy could include reuniting them with cherished animals. While Scripture doesn’t confirm this specifically, he encourages trust in God’s goodness and His perfect plan for eternal joy.
The Three Days of Darkness – Patrick
Patrick asks about the “Three Days of Darkness” prophecy.
Scott explains that this concept originates from Catholic mystic Anna Maria Taigi (1769–1837) and is not found in Scripture. While the Bible does mention darkness during the Tribulation, Scott clarifies that believers should focus on the biblical warnings of judgment and salvation through Christ rather than extra-biblical prophecies.
Dr. Barry Awe and Biblical Similitudes – Joanna
Joanna introduces Scott to Dr. Barry Awe’s Bible studies on YouTube.
Scott shares that he’s familiar with Dr. Awe’s engaging and detailed teachings about prophetic symbolism, though he notes that some of the timing predictions have been incorrect. Still, he appreciates the heart and scriptural focus behind Barry’s message.
“In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida” and Hidden Meaning – C. Stein
Cindy reflects on the 1960s song In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida by Iron Butterfly, originally meant to be In the Garden of Eden, suggesting possible symbolic meaning.
Scott notes that artistic interpretation can vary widely, much like dreams, and while it’s interesting to analyze music in a spiritual context, such connections are speculative.
Why Are Biblical Figures Depicted as Caucasian? – Donnie
Donnie questions why most artistic depictions of angels and Bible figures are Caucasian despite their Middle Eastern origins.
Scott explains that regional art from Europe reflected the artists’ own societies and limited exposure to other ethnicities. He clarifies that biblical people, including Jesus, would have reflected Semitic Middle Eastern features, and that God’s Word is focused on spiritual truth, not race or appearance.
Closing Thoughts
Scott concludes with gratitude for all who wrote in, reminding listeners that Scripture’s message transcends ethnicity, culture, and speculation. The central truth remains Christ’s redemption and the believer’s walk in faith.
Key Scriptures Referenced

October 13, 2025Dark Matter and Dark Energy | Hidden Forces or Spiritual Darkness Revealed? - Episode 256
Modern science claims that 95% of the universe is composed of dark matter and dark energy—mysterious forces invisible to the human eye. But could these unseen powers represent more than just cosmic phenomena? In this episode, Scott Mitchell and John Potts examine what Scripture reveals about darkness, exploring whether mankind’s pursuit to understand these hidden forces may intersect with spiritual realities the Bible has long described.
Are we unlocking secrets meant to remain sealed? Could science be tampering with the boundaries God established between light and darkness? Join Scott and John as they uncover biblical truths that may hold the key to understanding the universe’s unseen realm.
Bible Mysteries is an educational ministry podcast exposing the ancient spiritual battle in the modern world. We seek to reveal the secrets in the Scriptures that current satanic world systems are trying to suppress. Join us each week as we discuss things in the Bible the world doesn’t want you to know.

Discussing how CERN and other scientific pursuits may be crossing spiritual boundaries

Considering whether dark matter relates to the abyss or “bottomless pit” described in Revelation

Contrasting the light of Christ with the spiritual darkness that governs this present world

Encouraging believers to remain grounded in the Word and the saving light of Jesus Christ
Scripture References (KJV)

Key Questions
Could dark matter and dark energy be linked to the spiritual darkness Scripture describes?

Is mankind’s quest for cosmic understanding leading to spiritual deception?

Are scientific institutions unknowingly trying to open portals to the unseen realm?

What do these discoveries reveal about the end-time signs and the return of Christ?

Conclusion
If 95% of the universe is hidden, we must ask why God has allowed such mystery. Is He concealing the spiritual realm from man’s reach, or are the rulers of darkness guiding humanity’s curiosity toward a dangerous threshold? As science edges closer to unlocking the unseen, Scripture reminds us that Christ alone is the Light that dispels darkness.
When the heavens depart as a scroll, will it reveal the very realm men sought to uncover? The time to choose light over darkness is now—through faith in Jesus Christ, who rescues us from the power of the unseen.

October 12, 2025Let the King Hear Us: How the Church Must Prepare for Persecution, Not Political Victory
In this lesson, Scott Mitchell delivers a sobering message drawn from Psalms 20 and 21, calling believers to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ rather than political movements or earthly power. As deception increases in the last days, many Christians are being enticed to believe that political action can stop evil. Yet Scripture shows that vengeance and justice belong to God alone.
Scott reminds the Church that our warfare is spiritual, not carnal. The true King—Jesus Christ—will return to execute righteous judgment, as foretold in Isaiah 63 and Revelation 19. Until that day, believers are called to endure persecution, remain steadfast in faith, and pray for those in authority rather than striving for worldly influence.
Scripture References:
Psalm 20:6–9, Psalm 21:1–13, Isaiah 63:1–6, Romans 12:17–21, 2 Corinthians 10:3–6,
2 Thessalonians 1:4–10, Luke 21:16–19, 2 Timothy 2:12–13, 1 Timothy 2:1–6,
2 Peter 3:8–10, Philippians 1:29 (KJV)
Key Points
The Church’s Mission: The Body of Christ is called to preach the Gospel and endure affliction, not to reform a fallen world system.

Spiritual Warfare: Our weapons are not political or physical but spiritual—faith, prayer, and the Word of God.

Christ’s Kingship: Psalms 21 and Isaiah 63 reveal Christ as the divine King who will judge the earth in righteousness.

Persecution Is Inevitable: Scripture teaches that all who live godly will suffer persecution (2 Timothy 3:12). Suffering for Christ is not to be feared but embraced as part of our calling.

Avoiding the Deception: Political entanglement diverts the Church from her true purpose—preparing for Christ’s return and strengthening the saints.

Vengeance Belongs to God: Romans 12:19 reminds us that justice is His alone; our response must be love, prayer, and forgiveness.
Listener Reflection Questions
Am I trusting in human leaders more than in Christ the King?

How can I prepare my heart to endure persecution faithfully?

Do my prayers reflect submission to God’s will or a desire for worldly comfort?
Takeaway
The time for political victory has passed—now is the time for spiritual readiness. God has called His people to stand firm, proclaim the truth, and endure suffering for the sake of Christ. Let us pray, “Let the King hear us,” trusting that He alone will bring justice when He returns in glory.

October 06, 2025Indoctrination – The Left vs Right Deception and the Spiritual Battle for Your Mind - Episode 255
We live in an age of deep division—political, moral, and spiritual. While society points fingers across the aisle, the real architects of division are not men but principalities and powers. In this episode, Scott Mitchell and guest co-host Jeff Dodson expose how both the political left and right have been indoctrinated through media manipulation and emotional conditioning. The true battle is not between parties or policies but between truth and deception—between Christ and the rulers of darkness.
Key Scriptures
All Scripture references are from the King James Version of the Bible.
2 Corinthians 4:3–4 – The god of this world blinds the minds of unbelievers.

Romans 1:28–32 – The reprobate mind that rejects God’s truth.

Ephesians 6:10–13 – The real battle: spiritual wickedness in high places.

Romans 12:2 – Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Ephesians 4:20–23 – Renewal through Christ leads to discernment and truth.

Genesis 6:5–7, Matthew 24:37–39 – As in the days of Noah, so shall it be again.
Topics Covered
The Meaning of Indoctrination – How conditioning replaces critical thought and truth.

The Reprobate Mind – From Romans 1, describing those who fail the test of righteousness (adokimos—unfit, rejected).

Media as the Modern Pulpit – How social platforms and entertainment serve as tools of control.

The Left vs Right Deception – Both political sides serve the same unseen agenda of division.

Spiritual Warfare in the Mind – Why indoctrination is primarily mental and spiritual, not political.

Renewing the Mind – God’s remedy for indoctrination through His Word and the Holy Spirit.

No Political Solution – Lasting righteousness will not come from any human government but from Christ alone.
Key Takeaways
Indoctrination is mind control disguised as truth.

Both left and right ideologies are being manipulated by the same spiritual forces.

Social media and entertainment perpetuate division through emotional conditioning.

A reprobate mind rejects God’s truth, leading to moral confusion and blindness.

The renewal of the mind through Scripture is the only defense against deception.

The spiritual battle must be fought with discernment, prayer, and the armor of God.
Memorable Quote
“There is no political solution. Only Jesus can restore righteousness.” — Scott Mitchell

October 05, 2025This Generation – God’s Warning to a Wicked and Adulterous People
Episode Summary
In this message, Brother Scott Mitchell teaches on the meaning of “this generation” as described throughout Scripture — a phrase that identifies those who reject God, resist His truth, and walk in pride. Drawing from Psalms, Genesis, Deuteronomy, and the words of Jesus Himself, Scott reveals that the same rebellious spirit seen in Noah’s day and in unbelieving Israel is present in the world today.
This wicked and adulterous generation denies God’s authority while believing it is secure in its rebellion. Yet, as Scripture warns, judgment is coming. God’s Word remains pure and preserved, and His long-suffering grace offers a final opportunity for repentance before His wrath is revealed.
Key Points
A Rebellious Pattern Through History: From the violence of Noah’s day to the unbelief of Israel in the wilderness, every generation that rejects God shares the same spirit of defiance.

Jesus’ Condemnation of His Generation: Christ called His contemporaries “a generation of vipers” for their hypocrisy and unbelief — a warning that extends to today’s world.

God’s Patience Has a Purpose: The Lord delays judgment not from weakness but mercy, “not willing that any should perish” (2 Peter 3:9).

The Coming Wrath: The fig tree has begun to bud, and summer is near. The signs of Christ’s return are unfolding, signaling that time is short for repentance.

The Only Way of Escape: There is one Mediator between God and men — the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). Salvation is available now to all who believe.
Scriptures Referenced
Psalm 12:1–8 • Genesis 6:5–13 • Deuteronomy 1:34–36 • Psalm 95:10–11 • Matthew 11:16–19 • Matthew 23:33–36 • Acts 2:40 • Psalm 10:1–18 • Proverbs 30:11–14 • Psalm 90:1–13 • 2 Peter 3:8–9 • 1 Timothy 2:1–6 • Luke 21:29–33
Takeaway
Every generation that rejects the truth of God’s Word stands under judgment. Yet His mercy still calls out through the gospel of grace. Now is the time to be saved from this untoward generation and find eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.
Quotable Line
“The musicians are warming up, and they’re about to play another tune. Judgment is coming, but grace is still offered.” — Scott Mitchell

September 29, 2025 The Mystery of the Trinity: Understanding the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as One God - Episode 254
In this episode of Bible Mysteries Podcast, Scott Mitchell examines the Mystery of the Trinity—the truth that God is one in essence yet eternally exists as three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Though this doctrine can be challenging for our finite minds, Scripture gives clear testimony that invites us to believe by faith.
Scott walks through key passages including 1 John 5:7, John 1:1–5, Genesis 1:1–2, and Colossians 1:13–17, showing how the triune God is present from creation through redemption. He highlights Jesus Christ as “the image of the invisible God” and “the express image of His person,” fully divine and co-equal with the Father and the Spirit.
To help illustrate how three can be one, Scott offers everyday parallels—such as the unity of body, soul, and spirit in a person, and the threefold structure of a tire—while reminding listeners that no analogy can capture God’s infinite nature.
The episode encourages believers to embrace the Trinity with confidence, trusting that the Lord can dwell in heaven and within us at the same time. Faith, not human reasoning, is the key to understanding this foundational truth.

Key Scriptures (KJV)
1 John 5:6-8 • John 1:1-14 • Genesis 1:1-5, 26-27 • Colossians 1:13-17 • Hebrews 1:1-4 • Philippians 2:5-11 • Colossians 2:9

Takeaway
God reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three persons, one God. While the full depth of the Trinity surpasses human comprehension, the Bible calls us to believe and rejoice in His perfect unity and eternal presence.Read the companion Blog: The Mystery of the Trinity – One God in Three Persons

September 28, 2025Deceiving the Very Elect – Why True Believers Cannot Be Deceived in the Last Days
False teachers claim the Body of Christ can be deceived during the tribulation and even suggest the rapture itself is a deception. Scott Mitchell examines these assertions against Scripture, showing that God’s elect—sealed and preserved in Christ—cannot be deceived unto damnation.
This study underscores the believer’s security and the need to mature in sound doctrine rather than chase sensational theories.
Key Scriptures
All verses are from the King James Bible.
Matthew 24:21–27 – False Christs and prophets will show great signs and wonders, yet “if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

Mark 13:22 – Echoes Christ’s assurance that deception of the elect is not possible.

2 Thessalonians 2:8–12 – God sends strong delusion to those who reject the truth, not to His elect.

Luke 18:6–8 – A reminder that the Lord will avenge His elect, not deceive them.

Ephesians 1:4–6, 1:13–14; 4:30 – Believers are chosen before the foundation of the world and sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption.

Colossians 3:12–13 – The elect are holy and beloved, called to live in Christlike love and forgiveness.

Romans 8:31–39 – Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ.

1 Peter 1:3–5 – The saved are kept by God’s power through faith.

Jude 1:1 – Believers are sanctified and preserved in Jesus Christ.

John 10:1–5, 25–30 – Jesus’ sheep know His voice and will never perish.

1 Timothy 4:1–5 – A warning about seducing spirits and doctrines of devils in the latter times.

Ephesians 4:14–15 – Encouragement to grow in maturity and avoid being swayed by every new doctrine.
Key Points
False Claims Exposed – Scripture refutes the idea that end-time events could deceive true believers.

Sealed and Secure – Those in Christ are chosen, sealed, and kept by God’s power; they cannot lose salvation.

Call to Maturity – Grow in discernment and remain grounded in the Word to withstand false teachings.

Rightly Divide the Word – Understand the difference between God’s plan for Israel and His plan for the church.
Takeaway
The Bible makes it clear that deceiving the very elect is impossible. Stand firm in Christ, remain rooted in Scripture, and trust God’s promise of eternal security.

September 24, 2025Mystery Mailbag #13 – Who Are Revelation’s Two Witnesses?
In this Mystery Mailbag, Scott Mitchell responds to listener emails on everything from eternity and the Trinity to spiritual dreams and Revelation’s two witnesses. With thoughtful Scripture references and practical resources, they encourage deeper study and discernment for today’s spiritual challenges.
Listener Reflections & Future Topics
Eternity Beyond Time – Dylan reflects on existence outside linear time. Scott recommends The Final Nephilim by Ryan Petterson and considers a future episode on this profound mystery.
The Trinity & Jezebel – Cheyenne requests a study on the Trinity, while Hannah asks about Jezebel’s influence and Elijah’s fear. Both inspire future episode plans.
Resources & Book Insights
Behold a Pale Horse – Donna appreciates the podcast’s depth and asks about William Cooper’s classic. Scott affirms its value for understanding UFOs and modern deception.
Spiritual and Paranormal Experiences
Stephanie shares a disturbing dream of doll-like figures and a dark presence. Scott discusses spiritual warfare, possible sleep-paralysis connections, and recommends books by Karen Wilkinson and Vicki Joy Anderson.
Biblical Questions & Clarifications
Two Witnesses of Revelation 11 – Zach believes they are Enoch and Elijah. Scott explains why Scripture points to Elijah and Moses, clarifying Hebrews 9:27 about dying once.
Encouragement & Community
Scott reminds listeners of the importance of prayer, daily Bible study, and standing firm against deception. He also notes that premium content supports the ministry but free episodes remain available for all.
