Looking at John's dealings with Jesus, confirming that God had shown He was the one, the question posed by his disiples was more or less a reassurance for them and others that Jesus was -The Messiah-. It may be that he had a different expectation as to the way things would end for him, but his ministry was completed.

We see the thinking of some of God's servants during times of hardship. The Bible doesn't pull any punches in showing the mind of God's servants along with some of thier reasonings and doubts. Probably is one of Jesus reasons for introduciong the question, Will the Son of Man come back and find faith when He returns. How much will His saints be willing to persevere during the difficult times of Jacobs troubles -the Great tribulation

We see Ahaz refusing the grace of God to offerimg a sign, to help establish him in faith -believing- in God and His word. Ny God's grace through faith, Noah moved to the saving of his family from the destruction of the flood. God's grace is the only way to truly establish our hearts in Christ.

It's not quite so easy to understand the Grace of God , when you have not experienced it. God sheds His saving Grace upon His children. It is a attribute of God's character that He has to instill in us through faith. Noah found Grace, not that he was loking for it, but it found him.

In studying this Grace we need to realize it comes first, fot it is by Grace we are saved through faith. This is the saving grace of God that keeps on growing and manifesting itself through faith. It is the Word of God which is the Gospel.

The Gospel's saving effect is the faith that it develops and grace, that grows in the believer. God is constantly through The Holy Spirit increasing our faith. It is God -Jesus- in us that is sanctifying us through His word, as we obediently follow Him through faith.

we deal with signs all the time, but we nned to have our spiritual eyes opened to see and understand the Signs God's confirming and leading His children in the reassurance of thier walk in Him. His word that's like a lamp and light, that tells us this is the way to walk therein.

Sign and learning about them can be very beneficial, it is important to know the signs of the time, and about what God is confirming in our lives. These when given as a confirmation from God about specific things sometimes help reassure us, and are signpost in this journey we are on.

God drawing you to Himself, converting you, regenerating and giving spiritual sight often involve processes we are not aware of that are going on. Later we see that God was there all along bringing us to Himself, like Christ in us reconciling us to God.He does everything as a loving Father.

The perception of the believer is ever growing sharper, more focused as we grow in Christ and by exercise of use. The Grace and Faith of God has an ever-increasing effect on the person that is actually walking in the way God has proscribed. The quickness of it, plus the accuracy that goes along with wisdom, knowledge and understanding enhances the gift.
