This is a special edition episode of the Mavs Outsiders Podcast and we hope to bring you these regularly in the future. If you've been a follower of Bib's podcast since the solo days you may recall last year's GOAT series was one of the more popular entries. Well, the tradition continues as we prepare for the new season. 

Bibs went through all of NBA history to determine the 75 GREATEST players to play in the NBA/ABA. Last year's results turned out great but there were tweaks made to the formula to see if the results could be even better. I am incredibly happy with the results and cannot wait for you to see the full list. 

This first episode gives you some background on why the GOAT Series exists. I also gave you my methodology so you know how points were accumulated as well as who was considered for the list. I then give you the first 5 players. Numbers 75 through 71. I stopped there because number 70 and number 69 are huge names and cliffhangers are fun.
