Big Me Kickoff

We are getting closer to the big game between the Buckeyes and Vols and each team has plenty of reasons of why they should or could be the team to win the game. And while it is fine to look at the game in a vacuum, it is not played in one (even one that Connor Stalions repaired for you), it is played on the field against another team. So let's go to the Tale of the Tape and look at how things match-up.

Our show today is based on our weekly feature of the Tale of the Tape looking at Ohio State's upcoming opponent and with any luck, it won't be our last of this current season.

We continue talking about the upcoming game with Tennessee and what the Buckeyes must to do win the game. This show is in conjunction with a pair of stories I recently wrote, five on offense and five on defense. My reading the whole story on this show is boring, so I talk about three on each side of the ball and if you want to read the full stories, the links are below.

Bowl season is here and while we have already had a pair of bowl games take place, things start to ramp up on Tuesday. That doesn't change the fact that Ohio State fans have their attention set to what will happen on Saturday in the first round of the College Football Playoff. Tennessee is going to be a tough out and we had a chance to talk to Ryan Day, Chip Kelly and three players on Monday. We quickly go over what we learned as well as talking more about the Vols and a whole lot more on this edition of the Big Me Kickoff.

Big Me Kickoff is back after an extended pause and with Ohio State's first-round CFP game rapidly approaching I have had time to really start looking into the Tennessee Volunteers and have my thoughts on what the Buckeyes will be facing. Join me at 11am (ET) for all of that and your questions on a LIVE edition of the BMK.

On this special edition of the Big Me Kickoff, we are talking about Ohio State recruiting. The Buckeyes already have a major commit out of the state of Alabama and had a big visitor on campus over the weekend and he walked away with an offer. With several names from Alabama on Ohio State's recruiting radar, is there a shift in the state, once considered an impossible task for Northern teams to crack? All of that and a David Sanders update and more on the Big Me Kickoff.

The Team Up North lost out on a player it was sure that it was landing and there is a familiar face in the center of this situation. Tony Alford was was called the biggest coup for Michigan in this series (okay, maybe not quite that dramatic, but still) and now he has explaining to do as a top prospect from within the state of Ohio has committed to a SEC program. All of that and more in this edition of the Big Me Kickoff. Check out BuckeyeHuddle.com to get all of the best Ohio State Buckeyes coverage. The 2024 NFL Draft is in the books and if you listen to Michigan fans, they feel that they broke all draft records, which they did not. But it was a quiet draft for the Buckeyes regardless with just four players taken and then four more signing undrafted free agency deals. Why is next year going to be different for Ohio State? We are talking draft and more in this edition of the Big Me Kickoff.
