Ohio State beat Penn State 20-13 in a 3-4 matchup on Saturday. Oregon lost a key player but handled its business at Michigan. Upset losses for Iowa State and Kansas State scrambled the Big 12 race. Indiana continued its dominant ways against Michigan State. And Pitt and SMU played a primetime ACC game that mattered a lot to the College Football Playoff picture.

BYU, Pitt and Colorado put college football on notice with weekend wins, while the Ohio State-Nebraska game produced a winner with questions and a team in defeat that showed why it was proud of itself.
On this Monday Kings of the North, Doug Lesmerises and Bill Landis investigate the most interesting parts of Northern college football, including a possible quarterback change at Iowa, a Michigan response in a rivalry, Oregon continuing its roll and a Minnesota quarterback dropping dimes.

Ohio State barely survived against Nebraska on Saturday, holding on 21-17 in Ohio Stadium. Elsewhere in the Big Ten race, Oregon dominated Illinois in a Top-25 matchup and Indiana (with a backup QB) handled Washington. In a primetime showdown, Penn State quarterback Drew Allar was forced to leave the game against Wisconsin with a knee injury.
So on this KOTN Late Knight, Doug Lesmerises and Bill Landis run through those games and reset the Big Ten race.
Notre Dame also put up a big win against Navy in another Top-25 game, and BYU (somehow as an underdog) stayed undefeated with a smooth win at UCF.
