Join us(Greg, Geoff and Derek) for our first episode of Big Rascals. We are all aspiring writers and lovers of reading. Come and be a part of our book club and listen as we discuss "The Power of One" by Bryce Courtenay. There will be spoilers!!!! So, go read the book and come back when you are done. "The Power of One" is a powerful coming of age story about Peekay, a young English boy growing up in South Africa around the time of World War 2. Bullied and facing prejudice, Peekay learns to find inner strength and resilience through boxing, mentorship and a belief in the "power of one" - the idea that one person can make a difference.

We want Big Rascals to be a community or a "club." So don't hesitate to leave a comment or suggestion on what next book you would like us to discuss and we will do our best to accommodate.
