In this episode of the Podcast of Champions hosts Ryan Abraham and David Woods are continuing their Big Ten season previews with Nebraska and Maryland.
First up Brian Christopherson from Huskers247 joins the show to talk about what head coach Matt Rhule has been up to this off-season as he tries to turn things around for the Huskers with their first bowl bid since the 2016 season. The biggest addition to the roster was five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola and all eyes will be on the freshman to see if he can get Big Red back to national relevance once again.
Next we welcome in Jeff Ermann from InsideMDSports to talk about the job head coach Mike Locksley has done in College Park since taking over in 2019. Locksley is coming off three-straight bowl-winning seasons but he has never had a campaign with fewer than five losses (non-Covid years). The Terps were picked to finish 11th in the now 18-team Big Ten, mostly because they need to replace the all-time Big Ten passing leader in Taulia Tagovailoa.
As usual Ryan and Dave end the podcast answering listener emails and questions from the YouTube chat.
