Mitul Kotecha, Head of Asia FX and Rates Strategy, Barclays discusses what to look out for in the week ahead, amid another U-turn on tariffs by US President Donald Trump. Last Friday, he had threatened to slap 50% tariffs on the European Union for what he saw as its indifference towards negotiating a trade deal. He changed his mind after a phone call on Sunday, pausing the hikes until July 9th. Kotecha also discusses how the Fed will be positioned for rate cuts with the next set of FOMC minutes due on Thursday.
