Don't bother.

I literally don't understand how this book has 5 star reviews. I read it as a friend of mine narrates books and was asking for advice on whether she should audition for this title; but even in the first couple pages, there are multiple missing words which makes figuring out what is trying to be said very difficult. Some sentences sound like they are written by someone who does not have english as their first language, while others are just blatantly missing words.

There is no lead up to the plot. I don't think it's any secret that women like to read stories about being "owned" by a man, but even in 50 shades, at least there's a few chapters of backstory. In this book, the dude has literally worked with the main character for two years, was making out with a different woman, and then he very suddenly notices his very own assistant for the first time, and within a few paragraphs is telling her she is his, and that he will be with her forever. Meanwhile, the main character does the yes/no/yes/no/it feels so good but hes crazy bit over and over. I gave up after two chapters and texted my friend to forget this book, because it needs an editor before it can be produced as an audible book.

Quick, sassy and sexy read

I struck a love / hate relationship with the characters in the book as it progressed but it kept me turning the pages to see what else would happen with their personality and their relationship. It is a quick, sassy, and sexy read by Penelope with quite a strong dominant male character.

A ripoff even free

One star is too many to give this. There is absolutely nothing good to say about it. I hate that I wasted my time.

Great Sexiness!

I never like erotica books infact I never like romance book but because I am bored I decided to read and flip the pages of this book. What I like about this book is the twist of the story and what is more interesting is the story has two languages. This story is just plain hot and very heart pounding.

Bad

Hero started the book making out with another women. By the end of that day he is telling the heroine that she is his and that she isn't going anywhere. How can someone be so hot and cold. I for one could not handle it. I felt the hero was a cheater. The scene where she saw the same woman from the beginning in his bed only proved to me he was a lowlife. Then when he finally talks to the heroine he isn't sorry just mad she won't listen. Ok soooo not in love with him

Title: Chloe's African Safari

Author: Kent HamiIlton

Narrator: Tyra Kennedy

Format: Unabridged

Length: 2 hrs and 11 mins

Language: English

Release date: 08-30-16

Publisher: Kent Hamilton

Genres: Romance, Contemporary

Publisher's Summary:

Chloe joins an African Safari, to help her get over a recent abusive relationship. She has no interest in any new romance. She largely ignores the other members of the group.

Mark is on the same safari, also healing from a relationship that turned sour. While no stranger to the African bush, and having led a few similar tours of his own, he has decided to come on this tour as a customer, to leave someone else to do the organizing.

On the third day of the holiday they are in a game-viewing vehicle, which is high off the ground, but open to the air. They stop to look at a pride of lions close to the road. One of the male lions rushes at the vehicle and starts climbing up the side, right where Chloe is sitting. She freezes in terror. The driver grabs for his rifle and starts to bring it round to bear on the lion. At the same time, Mark, who is sitting on the same seat as her on the other side, jumps over her and shouts loudly at the lion. The lion checks himself, and then drops back down from the vehicle.

Chloe is white as a sheet. Mark asks her if she's okay, and apologizes for jumping over her. She stammers out her thanks for what he did.

After dinner that evening she decides that she should thank him properly, and so goes into the lounge to where he is sitting. He asks her to sit down and have her coffee with him.

Will he rescue her from more than just a lion? Will she heal his bruised heart?

âCome to Africa. Feel the warmth. Smell the earth. Hear the fish eagle. Find yourself.â

Kent Hamilton offers a Chick Lit novel that rather than opening a few paragraphs to get to the boudoir and the steam, opts of a simple gentle romance. And he plays it very well. It is refreshing to read a story that is more about two strangers getting to know each other through the magic of place and shared interests rather that a relationship built solely on the physical gratification. (Of note, Kent offers a free short story at the beginning of the book that demonstrates his mastery of erotica stories, too).

Kentâs synopsis outlines the story well: âChloe joins an African Safari, to help her get over a recent abusive relationship. She has NO interest in any new romance. Title: Click Me Happy!: A Romantic Novella with Three Endings

Author: Olga Núñez Miret

Narrator: Afton Laidy Jordan

Format: Unabridged

Length: 2 hrs and 33 mins

Language: English

Release date: 08-16-16

Publisher: Olga Nunez Miret

Ratings: 5 of 5 out of 1 votes

Genres: Romance, Contemporary

Publisher's Summary:

Do you believe in love at first sight - or first click? Do you think your life should be a romantic novel? Would you like to be able to choose the ending? If you've answered "yes" to any of these questions or feel intrigued by them, this novel offers you a unique opportunity. You can choose what kind of ending you want: unhappy, happy, or neutral.

Lilith, the protagonist, does not believe in all that "romantic nonsense". When her boss and friend, Debbie, asks her to create a digital books section for the library where they both work, she triggers a series of events that shake all of Lilith's strongly held beliefs. Her dislike for social networking is put to the test and despite her love for privacy and technological naiveté; she manages to make a number of virtual connections. The most interesting one, without a question, is Zane, a talented and attractive author and painter. Their friendship quickly develops into something else. But, what exactly? Lilith doesn't have a clue. A bet with Rowena, her childhood best-friend, offers her an opportunity to test her feelings for Zane and their relationship and a meeting, "real" this time, is organized in the gorgeous setting of Bermuda.

At that point, you, the listener, have the choice. Do you want the story to end up happy ever after? Do you think there's no chance for them? Or maybe you believe that there has to be more to life than romantic stories, and a neutral ending or new beginning is more true to life? You can pick and choose your ending, or you can listen to all of them and choose your favorite - or even create your own and let me know. I'd love to hear from you! (I leave you links to contact me at the end.) Don't be strangers!

Not bad

I was really really excited to read this book. I loved choose your own adventure books as a child and thought this would be similar. It wasn't, and I was disappointed. The book was well-written, but I just couldn't get in to it, because I kept waiting for the part where I would get to choose what happened next.

Lovely smooth and amusing read

I enjoyed the book very much. The characters are alive and "real". Never a dull or boring moment. The choice of endings is especially well done, because all three feel plausible and flow naturally from the story. None of them feel "contrived." I can recommend the book wholeheartedly to anyone who likes a smooth and intriguing read.

... - the story flowed effortlessly and it was too good to put down

I read this book in one sitting - the story flowed effortlessly and it was too good to put down. This is a romance, but it's simple and sweet, never overdone. Mike is very detailed and descriptive as he sets the scene, and he writes nostalgia like very few people can. He carries you back to the good part of the good old days. I recommend his other books for the same reason.

Members Reviews:

Sweet, Sad and Secy

I loved this book! I honestly think it is the best romanerotica that Decadent Publishing has put out so far. Willow is such a likeable character and Colin the most driven CEO of a company I have ever met. When Willow meets him for his first massage he won't even loosen his tie or unbutton his shirt. He demands her total silence for massages and won't even get off the phone or turn off the computer to relax and enjoy it.

Don't think for a moment Willow isn't reputable. She runs an honest business, but she's attracted to the handsome, uptight businessman and she figures since he's only into facts, figures and business he'd make the perfect companion for some after business play. She isn't looking for anything serious, because for Willow even the next day isn't guaranteed and she's not about to enter a relationship when she feels she has nothing she can offer.

I loved this storyline and I couldn't put it down, part of it was wondering exactly what medical condition Willow had that made her so determined to shut people out of her life, but most of it was the sizzling chemistry between Willow and Colin. Willow is constantly putting him in his place although he doesn't agree at all with her live for each day and each experience philosophy.

I felt the storytelling by Sara Daniel was superb. She did a great job of realistically portraying Willow's health problems, and of keeping you guessing as to the particulars of it clear to the end of the book. She gave hints as to what was wrong, but she didn't give it away. She builds the attraction between Willow and Colin very organically and has you hoping things, will turn out for the best, but honestly you are never sure what will happen until the end.

I give this romance my highest recommendation.

A classic opposites attract story with a modern medical twist!

This is a story of a whirlwind romance between a workaholic CEO and a gypsy masseuse. It surprisingly packs a lot of emotion in the span of a few weeks.

The author does an excellent job of writing a sweet story that manages to give you fully developed characters.

A satisfying novella

This emotion and passion filled novella proved satisfying. I thoroughly enjoyed the immediate spark between earthy Willow and corporate (work obsessed) Colin and the progression of their relationship into something deep and potentially substantial.

Ms. Daniel did a marvelous job of conveying Willowâs need to spare Colin from the loss he would endure if he fell in love with her.

Release date: 08-02-16

Publisher's Summary:

Never kiss your boss. That's a lesson Kylie Rossi isn't going to forget, not after losing her job. Now she's back home with her parents, mopping floors at a taco shop, and trying to figure out exactly where everything went wrong. Was Chris Stevens just not that into her? Well, that seems plenty obvious. His complete lack of interest when he delivered the news didn't leave much room for misinterpretation.

When Sergio Reyes shows up at Tio's Tacos, he's just what Kylie's grandma says she needs to order: handsome, charming, and maybe even interested in her. He seems like exactly what she needs to get over her heartbreak, but even so, she can't seem to get that boss out of her head. Her grandma's recipe for love gets a new ingredient when Chris gets back in touch. He is definitely still interested. Kylie has to figure out what she really wants - a fling with the man who fired her or love with a side of chips.

Good Read

Except for a few typos this is a good book. It shows how the mind can believe bad is good and good is not recognized because the girl questioned herself throughout the story. If life was just black and white we would have love and life so much easier.

This is a great author!
