How do we learn prejudice? Social scientists believe children begin to acquire prejudices and stereotypes as toddlers. Studies have found that school teachers clearly telegraph prejudices, so much so that some researchers believe children of color and white children in the same classroom effectively receive different educations. In the case of police, bias may affect split-second, life-or-death decisions. Shootings of black men incorrectly thought to be holding guns— George Floyed's murder and many more racial hate crimes displays stereotypes of immigrant in New York, police misconduct —brought this issue into the public debate. We refuse explicit bigotry. Cruelty, bullying, and slurs are just not OK in school.

Myth in special education. Myth is the fact: Demographics have changed rapidly and many more families both parents work outside of the home. The number of single families increased. Single parents increased dramatically from 14% in 1960 to 24% in 2011.  80% of the military are married with children (Hallahan et, al. 2014). According to research, mothers face a series of reactions, shock, denial, sadness, fear, and anger before adopting a child with a disability.

Mohikontok Er Kobita : আমেরিকান সমাজ দেখার, এবং বাংলা সংস্কৃতির সেতুর সাথে যুক্ত থাকার আকাংখা আর ভালবাসার ফসল 'মহিকন্টক’। নিউইয়র্ক শহরের  হাডসন নদীর আদি নাম টিও মহিকণ্টক। 'মহিকন্টক’ আমেরিকার এলগোনকুইআন নামক আদিবাসীদের ভাষা-অন্তর্গত শব্দ। অনেকে মনে করেন এটা মোহক অথবা মহিকান নামক গোত্রের মানুষের ভাষা-অন্তর্গত শব্দ যারা উত্তর আমেরিকার আদিবাসী। এলগোনকুইআন (মোহক) ভাষায় মহিকণ্টক অর্থ দুই দিকে প্রবাহিত নদী। একই নদী তে লবনাক্ত ও মিষ্টি পানির প্রবাহ। জোয়ারের সময় লবনাত্মক আটলান্টিকের পানি ম্যানহাটনের দক্ষিণ থেকে প্রবাহিত হয়ে উত্তরে অবস্থিত আলবানী’র ট্রয় উপনগর পর্যন্ত যায়। আর উত্তরে অবস্থিত হাডসন নদীর উৎসস্থল আডিরন্ডক পাহাড় থেকে প্রবাহিত হয় সতেজ পানি আটলান্টিক অভিমুখী সব সময়। মহিকণ্টক একটি নদী।

The myth of Hiawatha

Hiawatha united tribes in United States through the federal system in upper New York. He is a Native American from upstate New York. He is remembered for founding the federation of Iroquois nation with 7 tribes in New York. His stories has been retold throughout North America.

The episode is about the formation of Iroquois confederacy in 15th century by Native American.

Tarok is the writer of the avatar Hori’s life story. Ashim Sarkar quoted in his poem Kobi Gaan, “Tarok Gosai said that he saw the Avatar of the Black God Krisna after meeting the Avatar. Krishna is the avatar of Ram as mentioned in the Kobi Gaan song of folk poet Ashim Sarkar. Hori is an incarnation of avatar Krishna and there was no Avatar among Bengali nation before Hori like Hori and would not be like Hori Chun” Ashim Sarkar affirms in his song that No other avatar of God is like Hori Chun. Tarok is remembered for his devotion to the Avatar Hori Chan Thakur. He is renowned for his devotional writing.
