This week we are looking at one tried and true Jack Black classic, School of Rock. While impersonating your roommate to get a teaching gig is one thing, it's also a whole other thing to have never gotten the Led out! Our main man Dewey Fin is out to educate these kids on some great tunes and take them to Battle of the Bands. And Dewey not only has some angry parents, a frustrated principal, and Ned's bossy girlfriend on this tail, but also another band! A band that doesn't write songs, they write bad reviews. It's time to set sail with the most beloved bunch of pirates ever to grace the silver screen. This week is all about pirates as we look at Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. I have been excited all week to not only cover this one and bring it to y'all, but to watch it again! I just absolutely love these movies. The Black Pearl kicks off one of the most notable movie franchises in movie history. We have blacksmith William Turner, governor's daughter Elizabeth Swann, and Jack... I mean, "Captain" Jack Sparrow. And while they can return the gold to lift the curse and finally defeat Barbossa and his crew, there is no way to lift the curse of bad reviews. Can our pack of prominent pirates defeat them as well? Tune in to find out!

Welcome to the first official 2022 release to be covered on the BRBR Podcast! And what better way to celebrate than to return to Woodsboro 25 years after Ghostface first came slashing onto the scene. This week, we return to where it all began for Sidney Prescott and her friends, well, the ones that weren't trying to kill her, to yet again try to solve who might be behind these new brutal slayings. Although Screams 2, 3 and 4 are all blurs in my memory, the cult classic original still stands tall to this day. I mean, it's a horror legend now! But for this 5th installment to the slasher franchise, it's time for a new cast, new story and the same old scary Ghostface mask. Although Sidney has some extra help to defeat Ghostface in this one, will it be enough to also stop the bad reviewers from slashing this one to ribbons? It's time to go under the sea in BRBR's return to the universe of monster movies. And while our last true monster movie we covered dealt with the family life of a super lizard and an oversized ape... this one has got one big ol' sharky for us. It's The Meg! It's our classic scientists doing science things for science only to uncover the most dangerous marine predator ever is still alive. And while it is by no means movie of the year, it certainly delivers two hours of aquatic fun. It's up to Jason Statham to stop the beast in this one, but can his muscles and famous accent be enough to tame the shark AND the bad reviewers? Tune in to find out!

Welcome to the most royal episode of the BRBR Podcast! With the Genovian throne at hand, it’s up to the socially awkward Mia Thermopolis to access her princess side. That’s right! This week we are looking at one of the best royal Disney classics, The Princess Diaries 👑 And while some people may write it off and say it’s just some silly teen movie about the impossible dream of becoming a princess; you’re right! But it’s a truly fantastic, and hilarious silly teen movie about the impossible dream of becoming a princess. While she’s barely able to drive and even tame that crazy hair, but she’s an heir! (See what I did there? Hehe) 😂 But for real, cast away your preconceived notions because this is still just as fun a watch as it was back in 2001. Most of the characters did an awesome job, the story is fun to follow along and Mia has a little kitty named Fat Louie. Well… he’s not so little, is he? 🐱 While Mia finally is able to tame her hair, will she be able to royally tame these bad reviewers? Tune in to find out! ⚡️

What's up BRBR Fam welcome to a very special episode about a very, very strange movie. This week we are bringing vampires love and awkward teen tension to the show, with none other than Twilight. And before you think I have gone off the deep end for covering this, it is actually my 4th COMMISSIONED EPISODE!!! Heck yes you heard that right. In a sad, grey, pale city named "Forks," our main girl Bella finds herself in a dangerous romance with a 108-year old vampire named Edward. And yes, just about everyone on the planet has heard of Twilight. And also yes, just about all of those people despise it. But hey, it's a commissioned episode so your boy Bill is here to guide you through the in's and out's of this totally bonkers film. Although Edward and his vamp-fam can smell a human from a mile away, I have the same sense for bad reviews. And this flick has got them by the boatload. Can our boy Eddie not only save his gal Bella, his creepy relationship, AND escape the bad reviewers? Tune in to find out!

WELCOME TO BRBR 2022!! And what better way to kick off the new year than by covering the biggest movie of 2021, Spider-Man: No Way Home. Not only did this movie completely destroy the box office with its billions raked in worldwide, but its first official trailer became the second most viewed trailer EVER. And while it lacks in satisfyingly delivering the boatload of story it has to boast, it makes up for with fun fight scenes, super neat Easter eggs, and freakin' Tobey Maguire. Our boy Petey Parker's identity is out to the world resulting in the denial of entry into MIT for him, MJ and Ned. And after a spell from our good friend Doctor Strange goes wrong, it's up to Peter, Peter and Peter to stop some of the best villains from Spidey's universe. And although there's three of them, there's even more bad reviewers. Will nostalgia, cameos and the multiverse be enough to rise above them? Tune in to find out!

I can't believe I am saying this but this is the final episode of 2021 for the BRBR Podcast! And I could not be more pleased than ending the year covering arguably one of the best Christmas movies ever, Die Hard. YES. I DEFINITELY SAID CHRISTMAS MOVIE. Because it totally is one! Die Hard brings our boy Bruce Willis to the silver screen in one heck of a classic action movie. Hans Gruber, played by the late and legendary Alan Rickman, and his boys storm the Nakatomi Plaza on Christmas Eve in the effort to bag what they know is stashed in the vault. However, one barefoot, tanktopped hero narrowly escapes and goes on to thwart their dastardly plans. Now most of this movie takes place on the 30th floor of the Nakatomi building. That's pretty high up. But is it high enough for our buddy Bruce to escape the even more dastardly bad reviewers? Tune in to find out!

This week we look back at one of the most popularly controversial Christmas movies out there. It is bananas how some people absolutley adore this movie while others would rather watch paint dry. But you know what? It's Christmas time so we are covering Christmas movies. And these reviews may or may not leave you rocking around the Christmas tree. Even Buddy the Elf isn't safe in the North Pole from the bad reviewers.

 The Rock, Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot, a storyline for a great heist movie... What could go wrong? Enter Red Notice. I have said it before and I'll say it again, I LOVE heist movies. But goodness gracious, what Sharknado sized disaster this was. With The Rock as an FBI agent, Reynolds as an infamous art thief and Gadot as... Another infamous art thief? The three are out to see who can gather Cleoptra's legendary treasured eggs first in return for a big score. And while the movie is all about retrieving eggs, it also simply made me just want to throw eggs directly at it. So tune in as I return to joining forces with the bad reviewers as we cover Netflix's most expensive movie ever. You won't want to miss this one!!
