After that we set up our plan for next week’s recording, which is to talk about last season’s Doctor Who if (WHEN!) Elizabeth finally watches the Christmas episode, and American Gods since Kathryn’s almost finished that too. We’d talk about the latest season of Jessica Jones but Kathryn hasn’t watched it yet, partly because she’s been watching the Punisher instead, but mostly because Elizabeth isn’t recommending Jessica Jones to anyone. Which leads into the second season of Jessica Jones, which Elizabeth feels should have the tag line “Jessica Jones: ANSWER YOUR %$#&# PHONE.”

Well you better take us seriously this week, because the final episode of “A Story Of Love And Horror” was hands down the most depressing Night Vale episode ever and we’re going to spoil the hell out of it.

After that we scrape ourselves off the floor long enough to recap the next Night Vale episode “A Door Ajar Part 1,” and debrief on North Carolina Comicon and American Gods, but seriously you guys, that Love and Horror episode left us a little traumatized. Elizabeth finally finished watching the last two seasons of Hannibal, so this week she and Kathryn talk about the best parts (the dinner party scenes, natch), the sexiest parts (it’s a toss-up between Hannibal and Alana, or Hannibal and Will), the worst parts (“Do you SEE do you SEE do you SEE do you SEE”) and the parts that made us want to hide behind the couch (for crying out loud guys could you JUST LET CHILTON DIE ALREADY?)

Then we strayed into the Defenders (shut UP Danny) and Star Wars Rebels by way of Mads’ brother Lars. We also break our usual policy of not googling things on the podcast by apparently googling all the things.
