The Blood Matter From Space is finally here, and the battle between Our Dana and Other Dana is taking place in a literal lake of blood. Not to worry though, all of Cecil’s broadcasting equipment floats, so he’ll keep broadcasting while sitting atop his radio desk. In a lake of blood. (Wonderful image though. Seriously, fan artists, can someone get on that?)

After the recap we talk about how Elizabeth can’t get judgey about Kathryn not seeing Infinity War yet, because Elizabeth hasn’t seen anything else. (Seriously, our thoughts on Solo and Deadpool will also go up as soon as we actually see them.) Then it’s thoughts on Transformers Earth Wars, DC’s Dark Nights, Skyward, Saga, and how Wayward Sisters is out but a spinoff of The Originals is in. (A spinoff of a spinoff. We bring up Infinity War for a second because Elizabeth saw it, but Kathryn hasn’t, so we can’t say anything important, except there’s this rumor about this one actor and if it’s true, which we’re not saying it is, Elizabeth’s going to be mad, but we can’t go into details because spoilers. Which end of the ship was closest to the black hole? How is the Thirteenth Doctor going to get along with the TARDIS? And why did Elizabeth’s head explode when Kathryn pointed out that of COURSE River Song is a Companion?

After that we set up our plan for next week’s recording, which is to talk about last season’s Doctor Who if (WHEN!) Elizabeth finally watches the Christmas episode, and American Gods since Kathryn’s almost finished that too. We’d talk about the latest season of Jessica Jones but Kathryn hasn’t watched it yet, partly because she’s been watching the Punisher instead, but mostly because Elizabeth isn’t recommending Jessica Jones to anyone. (Attention Marvel you are NOT ALLOWED TO KILL LOKI. We would prefer it if you could also spare Hawkeye but SERIOUSLY MARVEL YOU LEAVE LOKI ALONE.) Which leads into the second season of Jessica Jones, which Elizabeth feels should have the tag line “Jessica Jones: ANSWER YOUR %$#&# PHONE.”
