Every once in awhile, I like to take this show back to its roots. Meaning, the original purpose of this show was talk formally and often about the filmmaking process. Consider this an Aftertaste that does just that. No fancy intros. No production. Just me and someone else talking about movies for 45 minutes.

But who did I take on this trip to drunk Aftertaste lane? Welcome Justin Smith, someone that all who went to Lawlapalooza 2018 can attest is a pretty cool dude. And while we sat and talked at Lawlapalooza for a good while, I always meant to bring him on the show in one capacity or another to talk about the movie he made with the one and only Jimmy O called Sick For Toys.

But before we get there, I ask Justin about his upbringing, and what brought him to LA, and how knowing Jimmy is what made him get into horror in the first place. This being the Aftertaste, we also discuss franchises, and what franchise he would dissect if I gave him a choice of one to do. Hint, His suggestion is being taken into serious consideration.
