Binge Media

Batch is joined by Jim law and his brand new permanent co host (listen to find out who.. I'll give you a hint, he really likes Spider-man) to talk about all 1 million comic book tv shows that are out this fall. Okay I'm exaggerating but still, we cover the good, the bad and the why is this on tv?

Comic legend Len Wein passed away and we break down some of his many accomplishments. The first few episodes of the new Spider-man cartoon is reviewed and opinions are mixed. In other Spidey talk, Marvel's new Venomverse event is here and we try and explain why everyone has a Venom symbiote. Finally Batch reviews the loving tale of a serial killer and his sex doll in the Image mini series Plastic.

TM is gone for the week, so PJ is flying solo through the first 2 weekends of college football. He dives in to the biggest matchups of the season thus far; who impressed and who looks like they may be in trouble.  Is college football becoming too PC?  Ask Baker Mayfield... someone was chirping in his ear.  ND's fanbase should be ashamed of themselves and the Buckeyes may be looking for a new QB.

Afterwards, PJ welcomes Jack back to the SportsCast to dissect and analyze exactly what we witnessed in the first week of the NFL season.  Surprise losses, dominating wins, Coaches not knowing what planet their on, and a city that can't fill an NFL stadium on opening weekend now having, not 1, but 2 NFL franchises.  It's officially overreaction week for the NFL, so let us know what changed in your predictions after watching week 1.

First thing's first - be warned that around 1:36:30 the audio goes a little nutty and Law's voice is about 3-4 seconds ahead of Pete and Ammon's. I tried to edit it as best I could without losing any of the conversation but for about a half hour things are a little confusing. It gets back on track after the pee break 2:11:22.

Anyhoo, Pete and Ammon join Law to discuss everything from TM and Kari's wedding to the giant bully at Chrysler who dick-shames Law every night. There's also reviews of IT, THE BIG SICK, GHOST HOUSE, DEATH NOTE, THE HERO, Mr. Mercedes, American Horror Story, Preacher, and lots more.

0:00:00-Shoes and Farts

Ammon finally shows up you cocksuckers. Everything that Pete discussed with Law about the wedding Ammon asks about so it is talked about for a second time. Jesus Christ. Revisiting Pete's gig on a kid's tv show.

1:14:05-TV ROUND UP. Mr. MC starts off the segment with The Murder of Laci Peterson, Preacher, Gone: The Forgotten Women of Ohio, and Scientology (audio problems begin around here, as the voices don't sync up with the actual discussion). Ammon discusses American Horror Story: Cult  and Mr. Mercedes. Law fucked up on The Sinner, then moves onto Rick and Morty. Anticipated Fall 2017 TV Shows. Bubba.

2:11:33-NEW PETEMC SOUNDER!

2:14:51-WHAT DID YOU WATCH? After a beautiful live Sounder from PeteMC and an AlyxMoreno name discussion, PeteMC starts us off with Death Note, Ghost and House. Law checked out The Hero, The Big Sick, and then him and Ammon tag team on It.

You'll float too, bitch.

There is absolutely no doubt how much the movie making landscape changed in March of 1999. That was when famed action producer Joel Silver (Lethal Weapon) released the vision of two siblings known as The Matrix. Made on a budget of $63 million, the science fiction thriller became a phenomenon, to the point that it took the visual effects Oscar from George Lucas's Episode 1. It was then that it became abundantly clear that a new vision had arrived.

Join Alyx, Jack, and myself as we go down the rabbit hole of The Matrix, and dissect what it was about this movie that grabbed the movie going public so tight. And keep coming back, as one by one we will pull apart each film in the series (yes, even The Animatrix) and debate whether this groundbreaking series really became the pariah it is perceived by many to be. Hopefully, all other podcasts in this series will end like this one, which consists of one host completely kicking himself for his rating afterwards.

We're one week away from the greatest time of the year:  The NFL Season!  And that means, it's time for us to pretend like we know what's going to happen during the 2017 Season.

PJ and TM welcome a special guest for the NFL Preview Show: Tom Brady's #1 fanboy - Jack Valley.  He brings his knowledge (homerism) to help the guys dissect, analyze, and finally predict who the contenders and pretenders (gross) are for the upcoming NFL season.  Does the NFL preseason make any sense and who does it help?  Will this years early injuries and suspension impact some of the favorites?  And what exactly does it mean to be $135 Million richer?  Play along with our Season Long Pick-em... and bet, or don't.

There's also a slight intermission in there for the 2017 Binge SportsCast Fantasy Football draft... where, unfortunately, we had to deal with more of Art's (from Cali) man love for TM and Chad C.
