The gang's all here and they get into some heavy E3 talk, a bunch of games they bought, and somehow even talk about what they played. All this was done while Jack played Horizon Zero Dawn. In interviews and various other press materials leading up to the release of Alien Covenant, Ridley Scott was adamant in proclaiming that the film would be more a return to its horror roots than the introspective look at the origin of man which was known as Prometheus. So knowing that -and that only- I went into Alien Covenant with a complete open mind. And the mixture of emotions towards the previous film felt by all three hosts of this very podcast -I loved Prometheus, Moreno kind of liked Prometheus, and Valley couldn't stand Prometheus- really made this film and ensuing podcast an interesting way to end this already past my expectations retrospective.

Join Moreno, Valley, and myself, as we dissect the hell out of the film, and proclaim whether we love it, or if Ridley Scott has in fact lost it. If you listened a couple BingeCasts ago, you know how Valley feels. But how do I, a die hard fan of the series, and Moreno, a relative newcomer to the series, feel about it? What could possibly be next for the Alien series? And what's next for the Aftertaste?

All these questions and more are answered below. So what are you waiting for, a personal invitation from a xenomorph? Download below!

On this week's Small Screen Heroes, Batch wrangles up Kupka and the two talk about the upcoming wonder woman flick.  Batch bombs galore are dropped about Wonder Woman's history, her beginnings in the 1940s through the 70s and how the character has evolved in the modern era.  They also go over the 70s TV show, how DC is continuing that show in their current digital comics and what the new stand alone Wonder Woman film had to go through over the years on its long path from page to big budget summer spectacular.

In comic TV round up, Kupka goes more in depth about this season of Agents of Shield and how awesome Ghost Rider was this season.  Batch talks about the finales of Supergirl, Flash, Arrow and Riverdale,

Other topics this week include the Zack Snider-Joss Whedon hand off of the Justice League movie and how it may potentially change the stigma of how that film is received by the hardcore fanbase.  How do you think Tom Hardy would do as Venom?  Let us know.

What would a Holiday weekend be without some vacationing staffers. 2 of the OG 3 are off to Booper(less)palooza leaving the show in the hands of Ammon who enlists a couple of semi regulars to help him out, one of them even brings a loyalty test.

0:00:00- Let's get it on. Ew.

0:01:55-The Ammon Show!! Been a while for this shit. Kupka is here too along with Alex Keen, East Coast Soccer Lover extraordinaire. What was Alex's gig working for the "old site?" How does one prep for Lawlapalooza? What beers do you drink? Keen has another loyalty test to give, so get those thinking caps ready you fuckers.

0:27:57-TRAILER ROUND UP.

0:43:35-TV ROUND UP. Better Call Saul. Keen gives out some mind blowing information but Kupka puts an interesting spin on it. Fargo. Ammon brings up the new Twin Peaks and The Leftovers. The boys talk shows that have been on forever. Keen talks Hot Girls Wanted, a Netflix documentary show. He also checked out Tracy Morgan's Stand Up Special, which Kupka provides insight on as well. 1:07:32-WHAT DID YOU WATCH? Highlighting of last week's Alien: Covenant review. Keen watched Faces, Lawrence of Arabia, The Jungle Book (2016), and La La Land. Kupka watched Yellowbeard (Movie Homework for those playing at home). Kupka viewed Dawn of the Planet of the Apes for the first time. Also saw Table 19 and Fist Fight. Ammon gives his thoughts on Get Out, The Fate of the Furious, Beauty and the Beast (2017). Who should be The Genie in the live action Aladdin movie? Ammon also gave in to his kids' wishes and watched Boss Baby. He also checked out John Wick 2, and the now 20 years old Starship Troopers. The 90s were a great decade for movies. Ice Cube has been in the cinema game for a long ass time. Ammon adds to his fucking list of films he watched in the past week, including Heat. A dream spin-off/sequel to Heat is discussed.

I had been fading through this season of Fargo but my interest definitely piqued this episode, and especially during this commentary.  Law and I discuss where the show falters and where it finally hits its stride.  Lot of theories this episode of where the show can end up.  We also go through the Fargo subreddit and discover a bunch of Law's usernames.  Listen and get drunk with us.

With a week gap between our Prometheus review and next Tuesday's review of Alien Covenant, I decided to bring in an old friend of the Aftertaste by the name of Chris Papps to just do what we usually do here at Binge Media, which is talk shop and shit about movies and TV.

As always, no topic -with the exception of Alien Covenant-  is off limits to Chris, and we talk about anything and everything that is on our minds. From the new Star Wars trailer, all the way through 13 Reasons Why, and even a little Twin Peaks, this is little more than a discussion about what the current state of entertainment is.

So download below, and be sure to check this space on Tuesday for the all new Alien Covenant retrospective with Johnny Moreno and Jack Valley.

Another day, another loyalty test failed. Where do we hire these guys? I still love their guts. Alien Covenant gets full spoiler treatment, Snatched gets punched in the dick, and American Gods gets super gay. Timestamp Guy knows what I'm talking about.....

0:00:00-Baptisms. Breakfast. Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica.

0:02:26-Kupka is here. Law is here. Falvey is here. What a trio. What's going on with Smash? Did Smash have a crash? In your face, Dr. Seuss. Alien: Covenant will be spoiled the fuck out of later so keep your guard up. Spoiler Sounder will be played beforehand so calm your tits, we will warn you. Ammon's podcasting future is seriously in question. Loyalty test given by Law.

0:24:29-TV ROUND UP. Kupka explains why he doesn't watch Fargo at the current moment. The show is discussed further by the other co-hosts. Falvey tries out American Gods again. Law delivers an AG spoiler but for reasons Jack needs to know. How's Better Call Saul going? Special Patreon episode with Falvey and Moreno (and another host) is happening soon. Johnny Cakes says little beyond that. Has Kupka tapped into Brockmire? Law checked out The Keepers on Netflix. He fifes all over The Handmaid's Tale. Veep, Silicon Valley, Archer, Rick and Morty, Arrested Development, The Leftovers (fucking starving right now), and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

1:22:54-MOVIE HOMEWORK: Creature. BMFML stuff following.

1:42:29-GOGGLE VOICE

2:29:30-WHAT DID YOU WATCH? J. Valley is put on the growing list of folks that watched L.A. 92. Kupka watched The Space Between Us and Joe Cocker: Mad Dog with Soul. More like Joe Cock(suck)er, amiriteguys?

------------------------------------------

We take a moment to talk about Chris Cornell. What an incredibly talented artist that left the Earth too soon. RIP.

---------------------------------

Law did get to see Snatched over the May Two Four weekend (still not a thing). Alien: Covenant is the biggie, and the boys leave nothing behind. If you haven't seen it, skip over this. If you don't give two shits about hearing everything, then by all means, proceed forward. This dissection steers the rest of the show all the way to the end.

There you go. Stay Frosty.
