Binge Media

Holy shit, it's been at least 19 months since the last Monday Morning Moreno, but I'm finally back this week with another MacGyver commentary with the great PeteMC!  This episode, called "Back From the Dead", is fantastic in so many ways.  Notably, there's a couple of the worst hitmen of all time with some of the worst plans of all time, there's a scene where MacGyver actually gets shot and through that trauma somehow manages to still use his "MacGyverness" to pull through, and there's a cameo of home run king, Hank Aaron....striking out to one of the worst looking pitchers ever.

Enjoy!

Now here's a show that features a Haka dance, drunken Moreno stories, a trip into the extremely high brain area of Ammon, Law pissing on himself a little, and the introduction of Smash Valley. I shouldn't even have to mention a movie or TV show to tempt you to listen.

But I will. We also review SUICIDE SQUAD, THE KILLING JOKE< THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS, COLLATERAL, FIRESTARTER, CAT'S EYE, THE NICE GUYS, Preacher, The Shield, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Oz, Six Feet Under, Ballers, Vice Principals, Stranger Things, and other random silly things.

We've also got a review of Louis C.K.'s new stand-up tour.

There's some Google Voice too, where certain people get yelled at for certain things.

0:00:00-A Special Opening by Reade Wilson (pre-recorded). Then the typical intro sounder.

0:02:40-Law and Moreno are ready, but Ammon is dealing with computer issues. Again. Supposedly. Or so he says. Movie homework? Maybe? Goddamnit. More Lawlapalooza bullshit. WE GOT IT. Haka, Olympics...the real meat of the show will start eventually.

0:42:37-GUHGLE VOICE

0:59:16-TV ROUND UP. Law and Moreno argue for a bit. Then shit begins fo' real. Moreno talks about The Shield, Oz, and Six Feet Under. He also started Always Sunny in Philadelphia. He and Ammon give their thoughts on Stranger Things. High Life continues with Preacher, Ballers, The Night Of, and Vice Principals.

1:51:00-Old Sounders (New Releases)

1:58:33-Law talks about seeing Louie C.K. live!

2:04:12-WHAT DID YOU WATCH? After a fuck ton of sounders to lead the segment in, the boys finally start. Ammon goes first with The Nice Guys, and discusses his revisits of Firestarter, Cat's Eye, and Collateral. Moreno took the advice of Jack Valley and watched Batman: The Killing Joke. Ammon then takes back the mic with Secret Life of Pets (spoiler alert: he hated the hell out of it. You know this already). Law digs into Suicide Squad. Comic book movie/tv talk for the rest of the rest of the cast. Excelsior, bitch!

At long last, the Binge Sports movie commentary series has arrived.

After making the announcement a while back, I've finally gotten this thing rolling and we're kicking things off with not just one of my favorite sports movies of all time, but one of my overall favorites as well, Field of Dreams. And to help me with this debut is the most unlikely person to ever be on a podcast about anything related to sports.....the one and only Shawshank. Now, I could have gotten just about anyone to come on and talk about this great flick and that was really the point. You don't have to be a sports fan to appreciate this movie and while she's certainly not able to discuss some of the specifics of baseball and what not (that's what I'm here for....I'm the freaking "sports guy"), she certainly had plenty to bring to the show....even if a few times we might have gotten caught up in just watching the movie, which tends to happen sometimes on a commentary when you're watching something as great as this. Overall, I thought this was a fun show and they'll certainly get better as we move along.

Next on the docket is Caddyshack, which comes your way in two weeks and will certainly bring a few more laughs to the table. Until then, pop in Field of Dreams and follow along. Enjoy.

Garrett has something to say, and we all should listen. That's right, Sneaky Juan Collins got a sneak peak at the latest from the DC theatrical universe and feels strongly one way or the other. Does he hate it like Jack hates BATMAN vs. SUPERMAN or does he love it like Law loves CIVIL WAR? The answers are inside. Meanwhile, the other two asshats on this show grill Garrett on who's the best character, who's the worst, and everything else you need to know before this weekend. Get it done.

There's lots to cover this week as Jack, Garrett, and Law settle in for another perfectly harmonized discussion of movies, TV, and tribal war dances.

Lawlapalooza is recapped, reviewed, and to be never mentioned again.

Google Voice finds the G.O.A.T. calling in for a second week in a row, mad as hell, the great Nate P, and the ultimate inception message.

TV discussed includes old Start Trek, The Night Of, Rick and Morty, and Stranger Things.

Movies reviewed include CAFE SOCIETY, BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE, TONY ROBBINS: I AM NOT YOUR GURU, and a whole shitload of revisits.

Stupid Comments is played and, of course, pisses everybody off.

Movie Homework is finally completed as Garrett watches TWISTER.

Stay Tuned for Garrett's BingeCast review of SUICIDE SQUAD tomorrow!

Just when we thought we knew what we were getting into, his holiness Bob Ross throws an absolutely out-of-the-Pthalo-Blue curveball at Jack and Supka that rocks the boys to their core.  What are they referring to, and why are they so excessively angry?  Download the episode to find out.  This week the boys watch Season 4 Episode 11 and Season 7 Episode 8.

Oh, and here's Lord Ross with his pet squirrel Pea-Pod.

Batch and Kupka handle all things game related this week while the Freak is out and about, claiming it's school related but we all know he's secretly collecting them all. This week we get a little more into Red Dead and discuss some other purchases that have been made. We're even giving away some Steam keys. So go listen.

Holy hell...... in case you weren't around last night on FaceBook, a bunch of assholes (Moreno, Kupka, Law, Pete MC, and The Professor Rob) recorded a live BingeCast. Below is the result of us managing to press record at some point and document it for all to hear. Within we discuss STAR TREK: BEYOND, Stranger Things, LIGHTS OUT, Roadies, all the Comic Con trailers, Preacher, and a million other things that make my head hurt trying to remember.

I do know at one point we fight about Kubrick vs. Spielberg vs. Fincher and the fact that Moreno leaves for two hours. Dude can't even record a whole show when we do it at his house.

Google Voice is played, there are live sounders for the first time ever, and Kupka stays awake for the whole night.

That's all I got. I'm hung over as shit. Other stuff blah blah blah.

Welcome to the latest wrestling edition of the Binge SportsCast. As we gear up for Sunday's WWE Battleground pay-per-view, I'm joined once again by Batch and Super Marcey to discuss everything that's been happening in the wrestling world and we had a lot on our plate this time around. We actually begin the show with a little TNA talk as we discuss the ridiculousness that is the feud between Matt and Jeff Hardy and just take it from there as we get into the Cruiserweight Classic, the card for Battleground and of course, the WWE Draft that took place this past Tuesday on the debut episode of Smackdown Live. Listen in as we all discuss our disappointment on how things went down and where exactly the company goes from here.

Enjoy.
