This week the Binge Movie Aftertaste brings you its very first audio commentary. To help do the honors, I decided to bring in the brains behind my first internet writing gig www.supermarcey.com Marcey Papandrea. Now it would seem the only reason I did this commentary is because it's so hot on the heels of the show's Karate Kid Retrospective. But in reality, that could not be further from the case.

Marcey and I have been talking about doing this particular feature commentary for at least four years. And the weird thing is, even after speaking for an hour about it with Johnny Moreno and Nate Peterson, I found I still had much more to say about this third Karate Kid entry. Was it worth the wait? Only one way to find out. Just put in your DVD and listen to us pontificate about one of the most derided sequels in history.

On a semi serious note, I would like to personally thank Marcey for pushing me to do this in a week that has been an emotionally punishing one for me. It really helped me push through. Welcome to the latest edition of the Binge SportsCast, which will actually be the last of its kind. Not to worry, I'm not going anywhere, but to hear the big announcement on the future of this show, you'll just have to listen in.

Along with that, I give a few thoughts on the passing of Muhammad Ali, which includes a surprise appearance from Shawshank, who just happened to walk into the room at the right time, so look forward to that. Welcome to Part III of our three part look at the entire Karate Kid franchise. If you have come this far, you have looked back at the first two films fondly, and wondered where the last two went wrong. Ok, MOST of us think the last two were wrong. Specifically, the last one.
