Recorded months ago I though I would save it for a rainy day or a weekend off from the regular BingeCast. Low and behold, we don’t take any weekends off, so I decided to wait until 2015 to release this shit on the nation. It may not be October 21st but you get the idea. It’s actually kind of weird to think we are in the year Marty travels to the future to in this film. We are all older, some older than others. Anyhoo, I have no idea what we talk about during this thing. It’s all new to us too. Some time during our most recent BingeCast, we decided that it would be a good idea to record what happens after the show.  Plenty of other podcasts do this, but what makes ours different is that we are all nonsensical drunk.  Seriously, this after show is like one long drunk segment.  I cannot vouch for its quality but I will say that IT IS AMAZING.

For the last BingeCast before Christmas, Moreno, Ammon, and Law get super drunk and never stop talking. Seriously, we have so much to discuss in this episode that we recorded another show after we pressed stop and will release it later in the week titled The AfterCast. As for this show, things kick off with the Sony hack and our dream that it’s all an elaborate marketing ploy. We also come up with a trendy “Watergate” type name for the whole fiasco. It’s amazing. Then Google Voice brings the goods with three quality voicemails. We can tell they’re getting tired of translating The Babadiiiiick.

Everybody says goodbye to Serial as we review the last episode of the first season and wonder about what the future of the show will bring.

TV Round-Up visits Homeland and sees Ammon catch up with Black Mirror. Speaking of which, Law and Moreno discuss the Black Mirror Christmas special, White Christmas, and continue to love everything about the show.

Moreno hosts the best ever version of Stupid Comments and stumps Law and Ammon with two impossible questions.

What Did You Watch has words about THE SKELETON TWINS, THE U: PART 2, and more talk about NIGHTCRAWLER and THE EQUALIZER. All reviews lead to more arguments about BOYHOOD.

Finally, Ammon brings back Literally Literary by reviewing Inherent Vice.

You know what’s hurtful?  When Jim Law and Ammon talk shit about the lack of Monday Morning Moreno updates.  And THEN, when you tell them there’s one scheduled, they don’t believe you. Fuck those fucks.

In this BRAND NEW format for Monday Morning Moreno (that I completely stole from Bill Burr’s Monday Morning Podcast), I discuss my writing slump (I refuse to call it “writers block”), which isn’t about laziness, more about how I think everything I write these days sucks.  Case in point, this post.  How do you battle a writing slump?

The Binge Music Cast WILL be back, Kupka and I have a plan.  We’ll be playing with different formats and guests in the new year.

I HATE ska music, specifically, the use of horns in ska music.   It’s an instant TURN OFF for me.  How about you?  What music or band makes you hit NEXT immediately?  I can’t believe I didn’t bring this up in the show but Dave Matthews Band is an instant turn off for me.  Counting Crows too.

The Travel Channel show Trip Flip had a Hobbit cross promotion that was completely fucking gross and I talk about my issues with it.  I also briefly give my two cents on the Sony/Interview story because why not.  

Really stoked about this new format for Monday Morning Moreno, and plan to record a show every other month or so.  Kidding. But maybe not. I don’t know.  Recording a solo show is odd, there will definitely be some issues at first, it’s hard to talk to yourself and fill time, but I’m excited by the challenge.  I’m also looking to have listeners call in and maybe co-host a show.  MAYBE.

While thinking about the holiday season, who DOESN’T picture Christian Bale wielding an ax to the music of Huey Lewis & The News? Well, once again proving how alcohol inhibits their outlook on life, Garrett, Moreno, and Jason show that’s exactly what they think about as this week’s Binge Movie Aftertaste podcast welcomes actress and American Psycho screenwriter Guinevere Turner for an episode of laid back and drunken questioning which not only highlights her uniquely funny outlook on Hollywood life, but also provides the hosts with one of the coolest games ever invented by a guest.

The boys get things started by wasting absolutely no time in bringing up the disastrous experience Turner had while writing the script to the first Blood Rayne movie for none other than notorious director Uwe Boll. After touching on her first Comic Con experience from earlier this year, Turner spends some time discussing the script writing approach she took in penning the long in development hell screen adaptation for American Psycho. It is around this time in which Turner reveals a game she sometimes plays while watching movies called Swap The Canadian. Listen to find out why the hosts are aching to play.

They then move on to talk about Turner’s current projects. One is an acting gig in a movie called Crazy Bitches (trailer below), and the other is as writer of a film which details circumstances surrounding Charles Manson’s cult of followers. All this plus her friendship with Kevin Smith, the eight years in the making Notorious Betty Page, the purpose of fake Facebook accounts, a King (Queen) of Hollywood bit which is going to be awful tough to beat, and much more. So grab your favorite frosty beverage and listen to all the madness. Just don’t go psycho while doing so.

It’s all over, people.  The last 7 seasons have been filled with ups and downs, but through it all, we found ourselves entertained and at times, forgiving for the show’s faults.  It’s safe to say that while we didn’t completely love how the show ended, we are satisfied with it.  In this episode we talk about fucking ghosts, Vic Mackie, and laughing at Connor the Irishman in his last attempt to upturn his shitty Irish luck.

Mucho thanks to everyone who has listened to these commentaries over the last couple years and enjoyed our shit talking over this show.  Law and I are forever thankful for that shit.
