A few years ago, I pulled Matt out of his college books long enough to record a five movie retrospective detailing our thoughts on the Terminator franchise. From James Cameron's first two ground breakers, to the two sequels of varying quality, to the infamous Terminator Genisys, we dissected the roots and follies of Matt's hero Arnold Schwarzeneggar's most famous role.

Cut to three years later. Many retrospectives have passed us, and Matt even graduated college. Yet low and behold, despite bad reviews and so-so US box office for Genisys, Cameron has used his hold on the Terminator rights to recruit Deadpool director Tim Miller for the brand new just released sequel Terminator: Dark Fate.

Join Matt and myself as we reminisce about that first retro, and dig our heels into what is looking like will be the final film of this dwindling franchise. Yet, we said the exact same thing LAST time.

Friday the 13th is, without a doubt, one of the most notorious movie series of all time. When it made its initial run in the 80s, the movies not only drew the ire of parent/teacher groups around the world. It also was the red headed stepchild in the eyes of Paramount executives. How did the series develop from its inception all the way to the modern day? That is the question myself, Matthew Goudreau, and Mik Duffy will explore in this podcast series.

Who would have thought after putting out an ad proclaiming that the 'scariest movie ever made' was being filmed in 1979, that from 1980 there would be one of the longest and prolific franchises in motion picture history. Sean Cunningham sure didn't think so, as his little Halloween rip-off has currently spawned 10 sequels, one remake, a video game, and everything else in between. So what do you say we go back to how it all started?
